Being happy and successful is the best revenge...especially if you end up forgetting all about having had an urge to get revenge in the first place. It's hard to really be happy while you're still hanging on to anger and the desire for revenge.

Trialbyfire Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 The best revenge is to be so indifferent, that revenge of any kind is more work than it's worth and that instead of wanting revenge, you wish the other person well. This is what moving on is all about, being in a healthy frame of mind.

loveslife Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 This is a great topic and I couldn't agree more. I was recently in a situation where I got royally scrod. It came to me pretty quickly that success would be my best revenge. If you think about it, in a situation where someone does you wrong sure it's gonna hurt you for a bit. But they're the ones who have to live with it for the rest of their lives. If you can get yourself to a really good place then you will be indifferent to them and it really is the best place to be. IMO
