Should I text him or see if he texts me at all?

Okay so, there's this guy i go to school with. We talk during classes, on msn, texts and he's come over to my house to study a couple of times. He is a semi-new friend. We've only just started talking to each otoher in the last month and a bit. He left for a school trip yesterday, and the night before we were talking and he had to go so i basicly said i hoped he had fun and everything on the trip; however, before sayaing bye he said that i could text him while he was on the trip and that i might even get a late night text when he can't sleep on the bus. We are just friends at the moment- he even talks to me about some problems he's having with a girl that he likes.

 

My problem is, quite obviously, that I dont know if i should text him or not even though I really want to. I don't want to seem as if I'm harrasing him or somthing like that, especially because I know that he likes someone else. We are always laughing when we are together, so I cannot help but hope that how he sees me will change. But I dont want to ruin the friendship that we have by being full-on, you know what I mean?

 

So, what do you think? Should I text him?

Yeah your right- I'm the type of person who makes something out of nothing and always over reacts. >__<' Thanks for the advice- I'll see how it goes, I guess. *shrugs*

From the sounds of it, he will text you while he's gone anyway. So, even if you don't text him you'll probably still hear from him. It was his idea wasn't it?
