b3nx
Getting a tattoo what do girls think. My gf thinks it will look hot it will be down my back. Now I have a 2-3 year plan to save. This pay I have an extra 500 and I hought I might start it. Should I save the money do girls think guys are tools for having them?
kiss_andmakeup
Depends on what the tattoo is of. Nicely done tattoo with meaning and a personal story = hot. Crappy tribal tattoo you found on the internet = not hot. Make sure you seek out a reputable artist with a good portfolio. No bargain basement specials when it comes to a permanent fixture on your body.
New Again
Some girls like 'em, some won't, and the ones who like YOU won't care.
Lish
Depends how big it is. & like someone has already said, if it has personal meaning it's hot. Even so, I still would want to be able to see some skin.
kiss_andmakeup
It should also be noted that I have a rather large tattoo that takes up my whole upper back...so I tend to be attracted to men with (good quality) tattoos. I'm guessing not all women feel the same way.
Thornton
I personally don't like tattoos at all. A guy with a tattoo - any tattoo - would immediately go on my "Idiot, do not date" list, unless I got to know him and he was really extra special. Not all women have the same views of course, but there are quite a few who don't like tattoos - you could potentially be reducing your dating pool by getting one. Of course, if you want a tattoo then you should get one, and the girls who don't like it can just date someone else. I'm just pointing out that not everyone finds them attractive, and in some cultures tattoos say a lot about your social class etc... e.g. where I live, tattoos are generally considered to be trashy and lower class. xpaperxcutx
I used to love piercings and tattoos, but then I was really young and into the bad boy types, musicians and players. I've since outgrown both, although I still have a piercing. Guys with noticeable piercings and massive amounts of tattoos aren't people I'd bring home. Not only do they look a mess, but overall I prefer men who are clean cut. Sure I won't mind a piercing if it's only your ears and not your entire face, and a few meaningful tats that can be covered is fine, but please do not go all out and starting tatting like you're in a gang. You'll be wasting your money and more so in the future if you're getting them removed.
t0ri
I know a guy who got, "all girls is bitches and bitches is crazy," on his butt. I think they can be hot... but it really depends on the tattoo and where it's at. No tacky ones like naked women or overly common tattoos.
Thaddeus
Well, whatever one decides to do, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES tattoo the name or initials or whatever of your current SO permanently on your carcass no matter how "in love" you might think you are. In the cases that I know of personally when that's been done, in each case without exception the relationship eventually ended and the person is left with a permanent reminder of their ex. bella16
I LOVE tattoos on guys. My boyfriend has a lot...covering his arms, chest, a few on his back, one on his kneck and I think it is just so sexy. You will get a lot of different opinions on this topic though. You should definately go for it, esp if your girlfriend thinks it'll be hot!
espec10001
I find tattoos to be a big turn off for me because everyone has them now a days. It almost seems that people with no tattoos are rare. Plus if I want to sport a symbol or picture I just wear jewelry. I think that looks cooler and feels cooler too, but thats my opinion. BeSteady
Warning, tattoos are a bit played out...when 50 year old soccer moms are sporting them, it is time to find a new way to express your individuality. Remember the mullet was once hot...: http://4coolthings.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/mullet-man.jpg At least you can get a new hair cut
