Soul Bear Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 so I was just minding my own business, logged on to my email as I have been corresponding with a really great woman and was about to reply, when low and behold, who pops up on my gmail chat but my ex! she blocked me when she finished with me 6 months ago. it said "hey how're you?" In about a total of 5 seconds I deleted the chat message and logged out of chat. I don't want anything to do with her. I signed back on invisible and she had gone, thank god. its all weird cos im quite taken by this new lady in my life, and just as im about to reply to her the ex decides to try and make contact. one question- is it rude of me to just ignore her? I really want nothing to do with her, but apparently she wants to be friends one day. no way! she lost that privilege! anyway, I met this new girl 5 days ago, and we have so much in common that is pretty rare considering what it is and how we met. Its quite weird, when I got the message from my ex I was just like " ach, get outa here"... didn't feel sad or anything, just annoyed at the nerve to try and communicate when she is in love with another guy and left me in the dirt. im doing better now than I ever have and its totally her loss! haha sorry im on a bit of a high today
bluesky123 Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Block the ex ! Where was she when you were sad and down ? Chat it u with this new girl, best of luck
Miguelrg Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Block and Delete! I kind of expected my ex to get in contact at some point, 7 months since break up this week and 4 months no contact! Stay strong soul, keep training and you might be as strong as me haha
john1988 Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Same thing happened to me and I was sweating whether to reply or not. I decided not to reply, I just felt that she overstepped my boundaries once again and it showed more lack of respect, it's her that's being out of line here bro not you. Think about her as an old work or school colleague, they are part of your past but not your future so just keep it moving you are doing great, besides it's NMFP!
xpaperxcutx Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Soul Bear the only reason you knew she signed off was because you still have her on your buddy list. That's a no-no after having been in NC for so long. Block and delete. And I'm glad you found someone because the break up forum had been filled with your threads for a while now. PS. love your avatar
