Yes he was my dad. And back on topic...

Heavier than is optimally appealing?! Are you blind? This woman is in incredible shape...that isn't fat on her - that is muscle - she has killer legs and looks awesome. Sorry, but most women (many half her age I'm betting) can only dream of thighs and a butt like that...

As for how she's dressed at her age...sheesh....she's a dance instructor, so she's dressed like a dance instructor. And those moves? Again...dance instructor-she's teaching a routine.

It's not like she's in the middle of a club wearing this or busting these moves...she's dressed v.appropriately for the situation.

If I remember correctly this is a personal attack. Does this look like a child to you? I assure you she's a full grown adult.

This is an interesting picture to me. This is the type of body my father liked. He was a true pediophile. I say "true" because many people don't know the exact definition of the word and confuse it for something else. The woman in the pic has almost hips and seems very small boned. She has little in the behind. I'm also taking into account that old saying that the camera adds on weight. She must look even thinner in real life.

Most men I've known like some curve. I've been thin like the pic here. I've recieved nasty and well meaning comments ( from men and women) when I was that thin. I also attracted my share of attention from men who didn't really want women but wanted children. I'm not saying tht every man who likes a very thin, small boned woman is really a pediophile, but in my experience, many are.

Me too. I've known a few who like the boyish figure (typically far eastern), and these men not only are not turned on by curve, but find it disgusting. But the majority like curve like you say.. which is reassuring as most women naturally have hips, boobs and nice shapely bottoms. I get more attention now than when I was a skinny thing.. infact I got more attention from gay men who wanted me as their fashion dressing up doll!

Angie, give me a break. The girl doesn't look like a child. Some women do have smaller hips. I am no bigger then most 12 year old girls. Does that mean every man that dates me is a pedophile just because he likes short women? Some men DO like women with curves. And some men like women with more petite builds. I am quite offended that you assumilate women with smaller buildes with being akin to attracting men that like children.

Now for CLV, I wonder how that girl would feel about you posting a picture of her backside for all to see on the message board. Did you ask her if you could before you did? Is that your girlfriend? If my boyfriend did that, to prove whatever point he was proving, he would hugely be invading my privacy and something that was meant to be between me an dhim. Now since you posted a picture of the girl, can you please post a picture of yourself? You're very critical of women and their bodies. I am curious to see what you look like yourself.

I agree that the woman in the clip isn't fat. She doesn't have any cellulite and is toned.

That she's heavier set than clv's taste, is okay. That he's called her fat, is totally inaccurate, since she's toned and has no cellulite. His g/f is less toned, even though she has a smaller frame.

To call men who prefer the smaller frame, pedophiles in the making, is inaccurate and deliberately insulting.

To call the woman in the clip, poorly dressed, with bad hair is insulting but accurate!

You didn't read my post very well. I said nothing about short women. Short women come in all sorts of builds. Some are curvy, some are skinny. Some are small boned, some are chunky. My experience has been that many men who prefer a smaller boned body (maybe tall, medium or short in height), with figures that resumble that of a child more, are more likely to be attracted to children. Not all, but many.

She was dressed that way to teach dance moves. Apperently, few people get this.

Are you suggesting that everyone MUST dress in the ugliest sweater possible and have really, really bad hair, in order to teach dance moves? If you're using the argument that she was trying to copy Beyonce, must every dance instructor dress in a way that copies the person they're trying to imitate, even though it looks like crap on them? Let's pretend that a hetero male dance instructor was showing moves made by Beyonce. Does this mean he has to dress like her?

I can just picture it:

A gal going throughout her normal day, assessing and slyly judging every other woman around her in that superior, condescending way that I'm seeing on this thread.

What a negative way to live.

She looks like a jazz dance instructor. This is how she was dressed. I'm not sure why it bothers you so much. If I was going to learn a dance move, her clothing makes it easy to see how she moves. This is what is important. The sweater isn't my style but it doesn't look like to me either. As far as a man doing this, I'm not sure why this entered the picture, but I'm curious.

Angie, I can't explain it to you in any other terms, beyond what I've already typed. If it makes no sense to you, then we'll have to agree to disagree.

IMO, she looks like crap.

She's not a minger or anything, she's quite alright looking for sure. and hella lot more fit than I am.

but her outfit and hair takes me back to a show that used to be on tv in the 80's called "20 Minute workout"

The horror the horror.

I am both short and small boned with small boobs and a small butt, small teeth, but a big mouth. Basically you are telling me that any man that is interested in me, that I built a relationship with was really a pedophile in disguise. Women come in all shapes and sizes. Boob size, butt size, height and weight is not the only indicator that you are a "woman". This idea that a woman is only a woman if she has these amazing curves is media drivel. I LIKE my small boned body structure. Just as I am sure that women here like their curvy well endowed bodies. I am every inch the woman they are.

You know, there are alot of things men do that bother me and I am not abject to talking about it but this I find offensive. But I find you so offensive not only to me, but in particular to men. And to the men that welcomed me into their life. I suspect your opinion is based on the emotional turmoil you had to withstand with a pedophila father. Even so, you would be wise to regonize that being a 'woman" is not defined by your ample boobs.

I did not tell you anything. I don't know why you take this so personally. I've stated what my experience has been. That is all.

do you think this woman looks bad?

No, I'd say she looks attractive. She is relatively young, is not fat, has a nice face and hair, and a good attitude.

But I also think this woman is stupid for making a video about Beyonce's moves. :(

She's OK with it, yes that's my GF, and she's fully clothed with her face hidden so we agreed her anonymity and modesty are protected. The picture only exists because she's put on a few pounds and was looking for approval (essentially) so I made a little fuss over how sexy she looked in those pants and started taking pictures of her. Normally of course her face is showing.

I think she looks very nice, and she's plenty curvy, very womanly actually.

As for the assertions men who don't like fat chicks are closet pedos, I agree with you that's just silly and is a common shaming technique employed by fat chicks, just as older women have shaming techniques they love to use on men who prefer younger women.

Directly on topic, I never said the woman was gross, just that she's packing a typical amount of fat for a 40 year old woman in good shape and that I wouldn't date her. Those are two distinct statements that are not 100% interchangeable. For those who say she's a lean mean machine, take a look at her inner thighs again.

I'm not sure she 'has no cellulite' but putting that aside when I say fat in most cases it's synonymous with 'heavy-set' or any number of other euphemistic terms that are designed to indicate her volume (in the geometric sense) is greater than I find attractive and that a significant amount (not necessarily by percent) is spent on storing fat.

I'd feel pretty confident in saying she's packing more fat than my GF is, even though it's pretty certain her muscle to fat ratio is also higher. She just looks like a stout lady who, as I've said before, is in reasonably good shape for her age.

Don't turn my comments around to suit your own screwed up agenda. I never said anything about fat chicks and certainly don't think the woman in the video is fat at all. And actually, I think she has a better body then your gf.

Now, Please post a picture of yourself. If you can post one of your gf I would love to see one of you. Hide your face if it makes you feel better.

By the way, that picture you took of your "gf" looks a little weird anyway. You are clearly in a public place there or in some kind of bathroom or behind a curtain. You're girlfriend and you were in public and she started complaining about her wait and you started taking pictures of her right there? I don't know but somethign doesn't add up between your comments and that picture.

We were on vacation together and it's the inside of our hotel room door. She had just put the outfit on and was looking at herself in the mirror.

EDIT: It was just a less than casual snapshot, so if you're complaining about the poor composition I tend to agree, I didn't concern myself with composition or lighting. Why is GF in quotes?

Honestly, I found this almost incomprehensible. She was not in public, she was complaining about her weight, not a wait. I think this is what you meant, but I'm not 100% sure. We were NOT waiting in line or anything like that.

EDIT: On Topic: I never said the woman in question was ugly. She looks pretty good for a middle aged woman, she's clearly predisposed to be heavy and works at avoiding it as best she can.

As for her looking better than my GF, we will have to just disagree there obviously.

That's the weirdest Hotel room I ever saw. It looks like the back of a stage area. Especially with that little sign in the upper right corner. I have never seen that in any hotel room.

Why can't you post a picture of yourself? Lets see how you look for a middle aged man.

The signs are (top to bottom) (1) management asking folks to turn off the air conditioner and lights when leaving the room and (2) a list of hotel policies such as surcharges, emergency gathering points and checkout times. I've never been in a room where some of these were NOT posted, indeed I believe it's the law to post a subset of this information in most locales.

Why was GF in quotes anyway, as "gf"?

For those who think the woman in the original video looks great, I'm not arguing that she's decent looking, although if we want to get into that discussion I have to say her body is 10x better than her face. All I ever said was that (1) older women tend to be heavy and (2) I wouldn't date her.

I don't think she looks bad at all and if I saw her on the street (dressed appropriately for being out of course) I probably wouldn't give her a second glance, she's completely normal looking to me.
