bede86 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Okies so heres my past few months in a nutshell....was sleeping with a girl, she found someone who she could have a serious relationship with, so then i got the old "yeh this isnt working, i met someone, it was fun while it lasted" now i didnt care too much there was no future in it. She actually was cheating on this person in the last 2 weeks of our casual sex endevours lol. Now i dont care bout that in particular its just this is always what its like for me...I have casual sex with girls and it lasts 2 months tops and then it comes to a gradual end. Now last night i went out in hopes of seeing a girl whose an acquaitance of mine who i flirt with to no end, so im figuring yeh im in (i like to think i can tell) anyway after what was a great convo with her, i didnt want to be forward so i spoke to others aswell etc. Then when i went to talk with her again she was getting busy with some guy....see i suck i really do...this is the story of my life im the guy girls are cool with fooling around with but would never consider as a relationship partner....I Smoke, Drink and have had substance abuse issues in the past, I'm a guitarist in a band in my town and we have a decent fan base for an indie band from a town of 150,000 people in Australia. I guess maybe my lifestyles a factor but i honestly think it shouldnt matter.

I guess maybe my lifestyles a factor but i honestly think it shouldnt matter. Maybe the girls you are trying to have relationships with think all of that should matter and does to them. Honestly, a guy in a band can get lots of hangers - groupies - as I am sure you are aware. But there has to be a lot more to bring to the table. The girls you would pick up who are attracted to you because of your persona on stage and the whole "rock star" thing usually aren't the ones that are looking to settle down. I'd try to meet girls elsewhere and hold back on some of your negatives (such as the substance abuse problem) until you have seen them a few times and they are more interested.
