I started to join various networking events last October 2008. I met a guy in one of those networking event who happens to be the Leader of the group. Since then, we actively exchanged and communicated through emails. From time to time, we met to talk some business and personal matters. I felt so close to him and enjoyed sharing the same insterests. There were times that he indirectly showed some interest to me by showing some jealosy to other fellow-networkers but nothing was said and discussed what he or I truly stands.

Last March, he invited me to join some event which I was not able to make it. Two weeks later, I found his pictures tag in facebook with other woman w/h he has relationship now. I am avoiding him as much as I can. I stopped communicating with him. I also stopped going to his networking event. But he is the one who continues to keep in touch and to communicate with me. I am having tough time now to forget him and get him out of mind because we are still keeping in touch. It makes me wonder what does he really feel or want from me?

Right....

It makes me wonder - why don't you ask him? :)

Sounds like you were having a fine business-like/networking friendship that YOU were building into something more in your mind than it was. And then to find out he is involved disturbed you.

I am afraid to be cornered. I am afraid to put on spot. What if he denied it and pretended "innocent"? I am really puzzled why he is not opened or proud to tell anyone including me about his girlfriend.

In a way, yes it bothers me that he is involved because he also confused me too by sending wrong signals and not telling me about her. Also, thet were times that he started asking me some personal questions and inviting me outside business events.

Thank you for the response.
