Ross PK Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I'm talking about a guy who looks unmanly and acts unmanly. I don't mean he's femanine though.
Thornton Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Not sure what you mean by unmanly then, because I'd assume it to mean effeminate.
Author Ross PK Posted September 12, 2009 Author Posted September 12, 2009 Not sure what you mean by unmanly then, because I'd assume it to mean effeminate. Weak features, and he's quiet. A 'beta' male.
RedDevil66 Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, nope! But I don't think a man would want an unwomanly woman either.
Quest Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 What are 'weak' features? And why is 'quiet' unmanly? Somebody who's quiet is just quiet ... Personally, I don't like really loud people, male or female, so I could well be attracted to a quiet man.
always_searching Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Weak features, and he's quiet. A 'beta' male. I don't mind weak features...actually, not much bothers me regarding superficial qualities, but I don't think I would want a quiet man. If I'm superficial at all, it's regarding intellect. My man has to be smart, and for his intellect to be expressed to me, he would have to talk...
Thornton Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I don't find being quiet to be unmanly. I would rather have a quiet and thoughtful guy instead of a brash lout who's always shouting his mouth off all the time. My bf is very quiet, a literary and musical type of guy, but he works out and he wrestles and boxes... he's very manly despite being quiet personality-wise. I'm not sure what you mean by weak features, but I guess you mean like a receding chin and feminine nose etc? That isn't necessarily unmanly either, although some girls may consider it to be unattractive and not very handsome.

A man can be quiet but interesting ... just because he doesn't dominate a conversation doesn't mean he hasn't got things to say (often quite the reverse). And it certainly doesn't mean he's unmasculine.
nobody's girl Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I once had a friend tell me that I'm such a tomboy that I need to find a guy that's in touch with his feminine side. Personally, as long as you can tell he's a guy, he has a decent personality, and you get along what's the big deal? Now if he's like Pat from the old SNL skits, then there may be a problem.

Taramere Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I often like men who aren't overtly masculine, as I feel more comfortable and playful around them. I don't think of them as unmanly, though. Just manly in a subtle way.

Quest Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I'm still wondering what weak features are?

anne1707 Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Ross Just as there are women who rant about alphamales, there are women who want something different. Does not mean it is not as good or inferior - far from it. Maybe they have their priorities right
Quest Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 This is one example So kind of cute really ... the sort of man you want to mother.
