tinktronik Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 no update from dreamer....anyone want to file a missing posters report? Strange...
loveslife Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I'm kinda worried. Does anyone know her phone number?
torranceshipman Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Wow the excitement on this thread I also am waiting for the update!
SierraRose Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I just experienced something very similar. Met a guy from an online dating site. We were both only on the site for less than 2 weeks. We met for a quick drink & have been each others company quite a bit since. We are in similar places in life, have the same values, interests, hobbies. Lots of laughter! The physical attraction is there, as well as the chemistry. We both feel totally blessed that our paths have crossed. Neither he or I were/are desparate, we just happen to be at the right place at the right time. Any healthy relationship takes time to develop. My new guy and I spend most of our time talking and getting to know each other, build trust, etc...We both feel what we have is going to turn into something very special.
Leia Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Is it abnormal for Dreamergrl not to update her threads?
Star Gazer Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Is it abnormal for Dreamergrl not to update her threads? Very. She pretty much lives on LS.
torranceshipman Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Same here SierraRose...I met a guy online, and I was the 1st girl (and only girl, as it turns out!) that he met on there. We're so compatible it is crazy - we moved quick, but it doesn't feel quick, as we're such a great match...we're officially a couple and have been for a little while, vacationed together already, spend most of our free time together, have met eachothers friends, made plans for months ahead, and he's meeting my family soon ope DreamerGrl is on to something similar!
loveslife Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I think if Dreamer were happily shacked up with him or gleefully in love she'd be beaming and posting all about it on this message board.
torranceshipman Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Maybe she's still on the date :D Well if it didn't go well, it's his loss...
kizik Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 She's probably just sick of people like me sh*tting on her threads.
alphamale Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 She's probably just sick of people like me sh*tting on her threads. no, i think there is more going on here than that
Hkizzle Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 If they're still having sex right now it's getting to the sore zone.
likestolaugh Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 oy, what a thread this has turned into!
Island Girl Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 oy, what a thread this has turned into! And it will be until Dreamer shows up and posts. Damnit.

If they're still having sex right now it's getting to the sore zone. I think Dreamergrl is "tied up at the moment" :lmao: She could also be at work trying to work.
Author dreamergrl Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 Wow! When I left for work on Saturday, there was only a page and a half of replies. I get back on the computer today and this thread is still going! My date went extremely well! And as a matter of fact, we hung out on Sunday too, we watched the Broncos and Rockies game together before I went to work. I'm hooking him dinner on Thursday. And there was no tying of me in the basement :bunny: As a matter of fact, there was cuddling and hand holding, but no pressure for sex. He's so easy to be around. I can be myself 100%.
stefspets Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I think that was the longest date in the history of LS.
stefspets Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Oops, can't edit now but I didn't see DG's post before I said that. Congrats on the great dates. Have fun "hooking" him dinner this week!
Author dreamergrl Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 Yes, it was a long date. Definitely time for a breather. I wasn't expecting it to be that long to be honest. Things just kind of happened that way. He also took me out to a place where a lot of his friends go, so I met I think maybe 3 of his friends yesterday. He does nice things for me just out of no where. He knows I love ice cream, so when we were watching the Rockies game, he went to the kitchen and surprised me with my FAVORITE ice cream (rocky road of course). Little things like that just to be sweet. He's so considerate too. I can honestly say that I don't think I have interest in seeing anyone else now. Things are progressing naturally, and that's how I want it. I do like him, but I'm not going to have super high expectations. I'm enjoying him, and spending time with him. And thanks for the best wishes everyone!
Island Girl Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 AWESOME -- simply fantastic news! Glad the date went so well -- and of course we were looking for the update silly girl! We LIKE you! He's going to get a home cooked meal and be stuck like glue! Much more successful dates to come I think. YAY Dreamer!

Thanks! :bunny: I think I'm going to make italian seasoned chicken, with spaghetti and some good bread. With wine of course. He likes red wine - any suggestions on a good type? I'm not floating in the dough here, but I want to make it as nice of a dinner as I can. Oooo my favorite part of the weekend is when he found a left handed glove and we tossed the baseball around Oooo and I forget to mention, he actually cooked me a meal too!
