alphamale Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 indeed, have a good time dreamergrl but make sure to use protection if it comes to that.....you know me i'm a big advocate of protection, well actually i'm not but i like to tell others to be safe sexuallly
boldjack Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Dreamer, You have very good smarts when it comes to dating. Just remember to keep your knickers up, and if you can't do that , BE PROTECTED. I think that if you take it easy , he could be a keeper. Good Luck and let us know how it goes.:)
kizik Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 And what does your 'happy for Dreamer' side say Once again, this is evidence that you only make threads with a desire for validation. The minute anyone happens to give you an opinion that contradicts your preconceptions, you tune out and ask for a second opinion. Date, be happy. That's great. But if you're going to brag on here, don't be surprised when people express dissenting (read: educated and realistic) opinions about your situation.
BobSacamento Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 You want to take it slow yet your going on your second date with him within 3 days.
SoulSearch_CO Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I wont get overly invested. And if I don't rush the sex eventually he'll get bored. Or if I have sex with him I'll find out if that's all he is looking for :lmao: Just kidding LOL..."sort of." You want to take it slow yet your going on your second date with him within 3 days. What's wrong with that? I had the first 3 dates with the guy I'm seeing within a 5-day period. We've been out a total of 6 times and still have not hopped in the sack. (And yessss, my goodness, there is chemistry.) My point is the "rules" are BS. ---------------------------- Eh. Don't let anyone be a buzzkill, DG. I'm happy for you. Keep those eyes open and the legs closed...oxytocin is a dangerous animal.
Leia Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Awesome. Dreamergrl, don't let the downers get to you. Perhaps they haven't been on dates for a bit . Enjoy the dating life while you still can!
DSM2709 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Well, let me just chime in here for a second. I met someone on a dating site recently and we went out three times before we........well you know. We both just felt it was right, And yes I used protection. Anyway's if you both feel it's right, then so be it. Your both adults, it's not like your in high school and you both have no idea what's going on. It is nice to meet someone different for a change, I know it was nice for me. Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring, just enjoy the moment and have fun, and if "it" happens, yes be careful and use your head and be smart about your choices. Now here's a bunny for you....!!! P.S....and "NO" I didn't wear the mask when I went out...LOL!!!
SoulSearch_CO Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 P.S....and "NO" I didn't wear the mask when I went out...LOL!!! I wondered about that!!
loveslife Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I'm anxiously awaiting Dreamer's waking up today so she can let us know how it went.
Keoki Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Please don't take this badly, but in my experience, guys who are looking for something serious don't have their hands all over a girl on a first date and don't stick their tongue down her throat in the middle of the first date. They take their time. It seems like this guy's in a rush. Agreed. He's either a player or desperate.
loveslife Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Hmmm it's 10:35am in Denver now. She usually fills us in pretty early the next day. Wonder why she's not been online.....
Hkizzle Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I want to know how this relationship turns out. Wish I had a fast forward button.
Trialbyfire Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Regardless of what he is, I hope dreamer's having a great time! There's simply no need to crap on anyone after one date, unless the guy's treating her like dirt, which he's not.
Keoki Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Hmmm it's 10:35am in Denver now. She usually fills us in pretty early the next day. Wonder why she's not been online..... She's probably still at his house.
Island Girl Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Regardless of what he is, I hope dreamer's having a great time! There's simply no need to crap on anyone after one date, unless the guy's treating her like dirt, which he's not. Exactly. All relationships progress as they will - some faster than others - some taking forEVER to develop. I congratulate Dreamer with her endeavors in a new city and getting out in the dating world so soon after getting there. Okay -- now fully ready and excited for an update!! :bunny:

As long as she's being well treated and is getting what she needs, eff 'em.
Island Girl Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 And for that matter, what if this doesn't turn into a relationship or for that matter, not all relationships last forever. As long as she's being well treated and is getting what she needs, eff 'em. Yes! Often two people enjoy each other's company for a time and then find it isn't a love connection. And if it ends up that it was a few fun dates but nothing major comes of it - big deal. There's no failure in finding you are incompatible for a lifetime commitment and moving on to search elsewhere. The point is have fun and see where things go.
loveslife Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I just hope she's not tied up in his basement.
jerbear Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I just hope she's not tied up in his basement. She might be consenting to that! Honestly I hope she is enjoying the date(s) / brunches and whatever is going on. Sometimes it requires a "new friend" to jump start life.
alphamale Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 they are probably having sex session #7 right now
Hkizzle Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 they are probably having sex session #7 right now Lol, this is proof that it's a bad idea to start threads about having a nice date.
Keoki Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I just hope she's not tied up in his basement. At this point..........
Island Girl Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 At this point.......... I KNOW!! Okay Dreamer - please check in sweetie and update...!
