ashleigh422 Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 I just posted on my relationshp, i think this is worth its own thread... i have a child with my ex (for one day) He is currently out of town. He will not leave me alone.. texting.. I love you... (I reply.. i told you its over, leave me alone.. k f!!k you too.. I reply.. don't be like that.. he replys "who you fu**in tonight?" How do i get him to stop this.. im over it.. When he gets back, I will be staying with my mom. The house is only mine. I will leave him a note to leave and if he doesn't I will file an eviction lawsuit against him, I work at an attorney's office so I know what I have to do to legally get him out. I know this is a complicated situation, but due to the history of my taking him back repetativly even though, deep down, i knew i shouldmt but couldn't tell him no, when he approached me in person.. I think I have no choice but go NC. How is that possible in this situation?
Unistudent Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Have you ever called the police after he has assaulted you? If you have I am sure that you can get a restraining order against him. As for him being in your (it is yours?) house? Just call the police and ask if they can help you remove a violent boyfriend from your house. I am sure they don't like women beaters anywhere so they will gladly do that for you. As for your phone contact just get his number blocked. I have never done this but I think you just call your provider and get them to block it for you. Really I think the first step for you is to get a restraining order... keep the texts that he sends you because those can be used (I think) to show that he is harassing you. Make it clear in a text to him that you want him to leave you alone. Goodluck
hellothar Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I suggest taking pictures of everything around the house with a camera with dated pictures. That way in case the eviction ticks him off and he decides to damage your property... you will have some proof of when the damage occured and take him to court for damages. You are good to get yourself out of this situation. I suggest getting the humber blocked as was said above.
