I tried it for the first time tonight and it's worked like a charm so far!

I was just out with my great-aunt and her daughter--my cousin--for dinner at Olive Garden. Our server was this really dreamy-looking guy and before long I was flirting with him. My aunt and cousin were helping me, asking him questions like how old he was, if he was from/lived in the area, if he was in school, if he was, where did he go, etc. So when the check came, I wrote my number on a napkin, with my name, saying "Tag...you're it".

My cousin and I left the restaurant while my aunt stayed at the table to make sure the guy got it (I also made sure she left a nice tip to help my cause, haha). I even saw them walking out together through the window. An hour ago--I assume he was just finishing work--I got a text saying, "You're it now! lol" and then another one a few minutes later (I guess because I hadn't responded) saying, "This is (name), what's up?" I dawdled for a few more minutes and then wrote back, "I'm not up right now, have an early class. I'll tag you tomorrow ;)" and he wrote back, "Good night!" He is rather keen on me, if I do say so myself. I wasn't expecting him to make contact tonight, or even in the next day or so! I hope something comes out of it...wish me luck, LS'ers!

Olive Garden overcooks their pasta. I would never eat there.

That's a cute story, Tigress. I hope it turns out well. :)

Yeah, I wish a hot chick like yourself tigress would write her number down on a napkin and hand it to me.

We exchanged a few more texts today while I was in between classes (I initiated because I wrote him last night that I would "tag him tomorrow"); I ended up letting at least an hour go in between my responses because I was busy and didn't want to get in trouble by texting during classes, but when I did write he responded within minutes every time, which is a good sign. I'm not initiating any more contact for now; I'm hoping he calls within the week...:bunny:

Text him and ask him what he thinks of the food they serve at the "restaurant" where he works. I think his answer will reveal a lot about his character.

Yeah, I didn't think it was all that bad...I would've chosen somewhere else to go but I really had no choice, my relatives are rather overbearing. But it worked out well for me anyway...
