Will he come back?

My boyfriend of 8 months just decided the other day that he didnt know how he felt about me and thought that we should "take a break" whatever thats suppose to mean. I still have feelings for him and wanted us to try and work on it because we both a busy summer and didnt get to see alot of each other but he wasnt sure. He told me that whatever decision he made wouldn't be the wrong one. Has anyone else gone through something like this? Will he decide he wants me back after some time apart? He still wants to be friends.

Sounds like he wants to 'play the field' a little bit but keep you as his backup plan.

Yeah dont be friends with him, he wants to keep what he misses without dealing with 100% of you. Dont let him use you like that. Cut out of his life completely so he has no choice but to be completely without you. If he comes back and wants to try again, then youre good. If he doesnt, then he moved on. Staying in touch with him will not make him miss you.

boys almost always come back. but be careful of him leaving you in limbo in the meantime.

You cannot be friends as long as you still have feeling for him and he does you. Don't let him put you in limbo.. I read in "He's Just Not that into you" book that if someone breaks up with you, you need move on with your life, and fast. Treat it like it's over. I KNOW how hard that is believe me. Don't think of it as a break, think of it as a breakup. Set boundaries. If you don't want to be just his friend, make that clear and DO IT. That is what I am doing- it's empowering! The worst feeling in the world is to be stuck in that limbo... Good luck...
