i'm just hoping to get some opinons.. i have no complaints.. my bf treats me like a queen.. we go out a lot and he is always footing the bill. the thing is, i don't want him to always feel like he has to do this.. i think we should be equals, and he shouldn't have to always pay for things. but whenever i bring the bills out of my pocket and take responsibilty for my end or sometimes both, he tells me to put my money away.. i don't want to sound ungracious.. i know most guys probably would feel insulted if the girl didn't let them pay.. they want to be the man who handles it and takes care of things... any suggestions as to how i can graciously tell him that i don't want him to pay? thank u.

Tell him what you told us, that he is making you feel bad and that you want to contribute etc..
