monkey00 Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 how should i ask out a cutie in my class?? there's this girl in one of my classes that meets once a week....damn i wont see her for 2 weeks cuz of thanks giving and after that there's only 2 more classes left before xmas break... anyway she's not much of a talker/socializer in class. she sends vibes out in such a way that make people NOT approach or talk to her. i saw her this morning and say hey she smiled and said that back. and once in awhile in each class, i catch her spotting me....LoL today she sat sideways and was moving her eyes to her corner cause isat directly behind her to see if i was checking her out or anything...i think? she seems like the type that if you approach her and take the time to know her, there's so much more to learn about her. She notices when i talk to people in the class, i talk w/ about half the ppl in the class......i was very sociable today...i felt great just being open! anyway..!! man she is hot, her tattoo is actually...!! one right above the thong line.....slurp...girls with those tatoos always finds a way to grab my interest. Anyway i feel she might already have a bf and i might not be able to live up to her expectations. I want to talk to her to get her to open up...but i dont know if i should do that during class, as ppl might start thinking that im a player....and usually she's the first person that leaves class before everyhone else...(and i have a strange feeling she might be a gold digger) i was thinking of saying..."hey, you know each time i see you there's something interesting about you." walk away for 5 mins or so and do my thing...walk back and say " i think i may have found something that belongs to you....your smile :)" (she's not much of a smiler, telling her this should break the ice) after that i think i might just ask if she wants to go out for cofee...you think i should?? there's only so much cafe places in NYC and i dont know which ones are good. Plus i think i'd have to ask her for her # if we do do coffee. Or just be crappy and ask if she wants to get some lunch at the lunchroom after class?? BEFORE i go and make a fool of myself, how can i find out if she has a bf or not? yea..i think this would count as my FIRST ask-out date...

quankanne Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 ah ... romance! you've got a very innovative line for meeting her, but I think that since she's been eyeing you, you could also get away with, "hey, how ya doing?" and progress from there. there are a plethora of things to talk about, from tastes in music to reactions to what you've seen on tv (news or other shows) to school, so there's no worry there, I'd think. usually she's the first person that leaves class before everyhone else something tells me that either she's shy or she's uncomfortable in that school environment. My suggestion is to see if she wants to meet for coffee or tea someplace off-campus, or to check out a book- or music-store. anything away from campus, you know? once you get a better feel for her personality, and if you feel she's receptive to it, it might be easier to ask if you can sit with her at lunch. good luck, and happy romancing!
Author monkey00 Posted November 21, 2003 Author Posted November 21, 2003 haha thanks quakanne!! i think the reason why she's the first person to bounce before everyone else is cause i think she's a slacker in school, as the same goes for everyone. but hey, when class is over she's the first person to get outta there! since she leaves so fast, i cant find any quiet time to talk or ask her person to person....instead i think i might have to just end up doing this during class. its a computer class btw... OH and how do i find out if she has a bf or not?? she seems like the type that has one

"I think you're an interesting person and would like to get to know you better." "you wanna get coffee/lunch sometime?" cut to the chase and make things easier...that definitely sounds like me! ive never used the pick-up line crap and its just not me, i would feel much at ease saying what i really want to say instead of being corny/romantic.
