My first one was 6 months

Second was 2 months (it was a robound, so maybe it doesnt count)

Third one was 9 months (my most real relationship)

But as you can tell, my relationships were all very short. Something wrong with me? I'm 26.

How long were your relationships? Do you think there's a pattern sort of?

Also, do you find yourself either always being the dumper, always the dumpee, or was it a mix of it?

My first relationship was when I was 17, it lasted 1.5 years. I was the dumper.

My next was when I was 19, it lasted 1.5 years. I was the dumper.

My last was when I was 21, it lasted 1.5 years. I was the dumpee.

My current started when I was 23. It's going on 9 months now. I hope it's not cursed. (meaning another 9 months to go, lol).

Give or take 2 months or less.

So I guess we all have our patterns?

I don't think there's anything wrong with you. Maybe with me, but not with you. :-) Keep truckin.

At age 26? Nothing to worry about, seriously.

I had my first REAL relationship starting at the age of 23 and dysfunction was the name of the game. I should have paid attention to the red flags instead of my feelings. But we were married for 4 years (together a total of 5 1/2). That was the most serious one I ever had.

Next one was 6 months.

And really...I don't count the little 4-6 week "STRs" that I had before my marriage...I had two of those.

So I've really only had two "serious" relationships and I'm 29.

I was the dumper in both. I've noticed that women leave men the majority of the time.

You a man or a woman? What were the reasons for the break ups? Without more info, can't help.

First relationship, about 1 year, I was the dumper

Second relationship, almost 3 years, I was dumped, and consequently crushed.

Third relationship, about 6 months, again dumped, again crushed...

Current relationship, almost 1 year.... Thinking about dumping.....

Seems pretty normal to me, although like Hkizzle said, the actual reasons for the break ups, and how the relationships were might allow people to have more indepth insight.

And I've always been the dumper (4 bfs, and a handful of guys I was just "dating" and ended things with).

We know your last one was a break-up when you finally told him no fooling around until marriage, so that one is really not surprising.

The other two, you'll have to let us know why you broke up.

I assume that most of your future relationships will be quite short if you stick with the no fooling around rule.

My family's running joke is that I put all my boyfriends on the two year plan. I've had several relationships that have lasted around two years. I don't think it's strange to have had shorter relationships, I think I'm strange because I always date somebody for two years.

My first real relationship was 2 years.

The second 4 years, and my last 3.5 years.

I have had a few less interesting ones of around the three month mark.

I don't think there's anything wrong with you.

If a relationship is not going to work out, it's better to know sooner than later.
