SummerLady Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I am thinking of getting them. Anyone here done it? Thoughts. Opinions? Feedback appreciated.
laRubiaBonita Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 My thoughts....... what a commitment! so you get them and pay thousands of dollars, then 6-10 years later you have to have them re-done or upkept somehow..... paying probably what you paid initially to get them done. i just think it's a lot of money- and not just a one time cost. not to mention the possible health concerns that you may face. i think you can do what you want, and if it makes you a happier, confident person- awesome! just do your research.
Palmer253 Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Big boobs are overrated. Take that money and spend it on an amazing vacation, or put it in savings or an investment of some sort.
Lizzie60 Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Please don't.. they look awful.. I have never ever seen 'natural looking' fake boobs... plus it's tacky..
Taramere Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 If you're thinking of getting it done primarily so that men will find you more attractive (and the fact that you're seeking opinions on a message board suggests to me that you might be driven significantly by others' opinions in this matter) you should consider that although some men adore the notion of women going under the knife to get bigger boobs, others are quite opposed to it. If you get the op done, and later find yourself being really keen on a guy who really does not rate silicon boobs (or women who get that op done) how are you going to feel? Are you likely to feel comfortable, accepted and admired by a guy who feels that way? Possibly not. Equally, men who wish more women would go down the silicon boobs route may be rejecting of women who refuse to do it. If you don't get the op done, you may well eliminate those men from your pool of potentials. How would you feel about that? Maybe you have to decide which is worse. To be rejected for who you are naturally, or to be rejected for surgically altering your body in a way that the man rejecting you doesn't like or respect? I think the latter would be worse, but what I think doesn't give any clues as to which would be worse for you personally. Also, of course, you have to consider the very real risks that any procedure requiring anaesthesia carries, in weighing up whether it's worth it.
boldjack Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I'm going with Lizzie on this. I have never seen fake boobs that looked natural, and I have never touched fake boobs that felt natural. You would better spend your money on other things, to increase your self-esteem. JMO
JohnP82 Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 They don't feel the same. But do whatever makes you happy.

laRubiaBonita Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 OP.. google something about operations that went terribly wrong.. you'll see all kinds of horror stories.. all kinds of operations can get botched- not just cosmetic surgery. and who is to say she is getting huge breast sacs put in.... maybe she is just trying to get something
donnamaybe Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Okay, I just watched a video on WebMD about a new procedure wherein a woman wears this suction cuppy type thing that actually stretches the skin. Once there is enough room to make your breasts the size you would want them, they do liposuction and harvest fat from undesirable places on your body and inject it into your boobs. NO CUTTING!!! NO FOREIGN OBJECTS!!! Since boobs are made of fat, other than the actual mammary glands, it's a perfect solution. They say the long term effects are wonderful also. No need for "adjustments."
Taramere Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Watching a procedure is probably a good plan, if you're planning to get it done. Here is one that seems very factual (as opposed to the promotional ones some surgeons have published on youtube).
2sure Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I like mine, no regret at all. But they dont feel the same , thats true. I know other women who have ripples in them and thats gross. I would not say I have received more attention from the opposite sex because of them...more than anything they were kind of just a trendy fashion addition for me. But they did make me happy with how I looked and that gave me confidence so...I'm sure thats reflected on the outside. Still , sometimes they are just in the way. Mine arent huge but...I dont know, no big deal, wont change your life.

No need for "adjustments." does the fat shift? i would be concerned with that. what makes it stay in the stationary areas? i would do this on my butt... i have such a no-butt, i hate it!
donnamaybe Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Here's a link to the story on Web MD about the fat transfer surgery. It sounds MUCH more costly, but I can imagine it would be worth the difference in price for more than one reason. http://www.webmd.com/mental-health/news/20080505/surgery-to-lose-fat-get-bigger-breasts And here's a video about it from another source:

I'm not sure what makes it stay, but what makes fat stay where it ends up naturally?
laRubiaBonita Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 20K!!!!! i could buy a ton of custom- hand sewn padded bras with that kind of money!
2sure Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Yeah...No. I mean, they probably look and feel more natural. BUT the thing is with large natural boobs...they fall down. I mean, thats OK but if you're going for fake stick with perky.
donnamaybe Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 20K!!!!! i could buy a ton of custom- hand sewn padded bras with that kind of money! I know. But as it's fairly new, that's probably why it's still spendy. I always wondered about gals who wore padded bras and those little underpants with pads in 'em. What happens when the date goes well and you're alone with a guy and your boobs and butt fall off as your clothes hit the floor?
GorillaTheater Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 20K!!!!! i could buy a ton of custom- hand sewn padded bras with that kind of money! My wife wears padded bras because she's self-conscious about her nipples sticking out. It's cute.

donnamaybe Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 My wife wears padded bras because she's self-conscious about her nipples sticking out. It's cute. My BF asked me to take OFF my bra a couple weeks ago when we were out because "You have nice tits and nice nipples." lol I took it off.
boldjack Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Donna, My wife almost never wears a bra at home, and I love it!! Her's are large, but not huge, but just watching them roll and jiggle is a real treat.!:D:love:
lord alfred douglas Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I wonder what it would feel like to kiss and fondle unincorporated silcone implants
