dreamergrl Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I can't believe George was brought back up. Seriously, I wasn't joking. Get a plant, and a fake one at that.
vanilla87 Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 smart girls who are married to rich/powerful men always stay skinny thats cause their husband has the money to make her look all plastic and fake, gwad *yuck!* I hate fake people...
vanilla87 Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 yeah because we all know that ALL marriages end in divorce or with men cheating on them because of dumb women getting fat. well if a guy has needs and everyone has needs, then if he is not getting any because his wife doesn't have the energy due to the lack of not being healthy enough for her weight, then she is not being fair to the guy. People who have high sex drives tend to want sex almost every day or even twice a day. They don't have a sex addiction if that was what your thinking, but they are just more wired to enjoy sex more frequently. And people who are not wired that way will end up being unhappy because they feel pressure to have sex if they don't feel sexy enough or pretty enough because they feel over weight. That is a big reason why guys cheat, because they don't get sex at home from a wife that doesn't take time to take care of herself anymore. The reason a guy married a woman in the first place because he loved how she looked and took care of herself. If stops for too long, like 5 years or more, a guy will go looking else where, to a younger girl, who keeps herself looking good all the time. Men are visual human beings, women are emotional human beings. We have to FEEL to get in the mood. Men have to SEE to get in the mood... So if he is turned off by her fat, then forget about it... it won't work till she tries to do something and SOON... guys are impatient when they want sex, trust me, they are after a certain point...
SpanksTheMonkey Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I'm an overweight women and Ive been lucky enough to have lots of relationships. My current partner is a good guy who could have prob had his choice of girls and chose me. So I don't think weight is as much of an issue as your making it out to be really there is some one for every one. That said originally I was going to lash out in anger when I 1st saw this thread. But then I gave it some time took a step back and now I can see just from skimming Thu your obviously a very sad/depressed person. I honestly hope you can work out your issues no one deserves to be alone and bitter for ever best of luck..
hoping2heal Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Because even fat girls get some attention, so they see no incentive to slim down, while chubby guys need to work thrice as hard at it . I've been up to 20 pounds overweight, until reaching the point of getting disgusted with myself and then losing it all. I personally have hard time believing that someone can be genuinely happy with themselves with a solid spare tire around their waist. I don't dispute the second half of your claim. That said, I know plenty of women with beautiful figures, who also are not genuinely happy with themselves. In fact, as a "fattie" I know women with much better figures than my current one, and I'm not nearly as insecure or unhappy as them, Go figure? Now, before anyone gets wild about anything, as a fattie I do also work out an hour a day and I have been losing weight and trying to get back into healthier shape. I took care of the elderly and I know exactly how bad excess weight is going to take a toll on your body as you age, I don't want to deal with that. No one should.
deux ex machina Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 OP, I found your last few posts disturbing to read. Consider that you could indeed be without a romantic partner for some time, maybe even for the rest of your life. Are you ready to accept that, fully and completely?
MN randomguy Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Consider that you could indeed be without a romantic partner for some time, maybe even for the rest of your life. Are you ready to accept that, fully and completely? Similar boat dude. I have a BMI of 25 approx. 205 and 6'4". I get women who want think we're a match because we're the same weight. except they're 5'2". Don't settle though. That's the enabling. My sister is 5'11" and 250ish. 31 and single. Our mother (5'8" and 300ish) thinks that she is entitled to a doctor etc. husband and that its inner beauty and all that Oprah $hit! Pi$$es me off! What a waste of her hope and life. Meanwhile, got off of the phone with mom yesterday. She's having feet troubles and has seen the doctor about them. The Dr. isn't sure if its from her diabetes or just being twice her recommended weight for the last 30 years. Members of my family like to talk about skinny-minis(healthy weight or less women) in a deroggatory fashion. How they all must be sooo shallow. I've informed them that if ever they are going to have a daughter-in-law, she will be a skinny-mini. And, she will not be expected to take any $hit from them.
Chrome Barracuda Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I like "Thick" girls notice thick. kind of fat but still hot enough to be sexy!!! with nice thick legs and a slim waist. Think "Gloria Velez , or buffie the body. You need something like that... or you need to start going after girls who are into just you. and not be depending on their looks. Because i notice the more pretty a girl is, depending on where she lives or who she hangs with the more shallow she is... Sad but true.

Why wouldn't she be entitled to date a nice accomplished guy if thats what she wants? just wondering. So her being overweight lessens her rights to what would make her happy as a person? thats so sad. I agree its not nice or right they bash skinny women live and let live but then again being exposed to a constant attitude like this can make people bitter and lash out in the end.

A previous poster likes "thick" women? How about him? Are men entitled to the women they want no matter how alcoholic unemployed and un-kept they are? Its a competition. Everybody wants to do as well as they can. Being delusional about what is desirable puts you at a dis-advantage. Also, an un-supportive, manipulative, insecure and self-serving family puts you at a dis-advantage.

Err, wanted, and feeling entitled to is different from putting oneself in the position to get it. So many people want, a rich, interesting, funny man, or a hot, interesting, understanding woman. Reality check, there's more demand than supply. So 100% of people want what only 10% of people have. Why would those attractive people pick you if you don't put the effort into making yourself attractive? It's like saying, I want to be rich and then being too lazy to work hard. It's an unrealistic desire. Realistic desires go hand in hand with doing something about it.

I see your point but its based on the biased idea that overweight people are plain unattractive and lazy witch just isn't always true you don't have to be a size 2 to be happy or atractive...

I mean at the end of the day a man is a man and a woman is a woman... Some people are shallow and greedy to really overlook others just because of a few superficial things. im rarely like that.

A size 2 doesn't necessarily have to be happy. But lets say I'm a successful doctor, and I either have a 300lb woman who thinks she's nice, interested in me, or a 120lb inteesting woman with a decent personality. Who am I going to pick? Again it's about supply and demand. More people want a limited supply of attractive people. In fact why not reverse the arguement? Why isn't his 300 lb mum willing to see inner beauty in some poor road sweeper?

I'm just overweight and not ashamed of it Ive accepted myself as a person. And if a guy doesn't want me simply based on how I look then thats his loss not mine. I think its hardly adapt to compare an alcoholic to an overweight person but that comparison its self is largely based on the mass brain wash that sociality has done on most of us I think. Hey its OK if you like thin women go for it to each his own! but don't knock overweight ones just cause its not your desired type of women. Believe it or not there are lost of men who desire us over thin women its personal choice in the end I guess. Bottom line is no one group is better or worth more as people then another..

I'm in good shape but technically I'm obese according to BMI because I got a lot of muscle mass, not sure if that puts me at risk too.
Author OpenGL Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 And apparently so do you so cut out the dramatics' date=' stop feeling sorry for yourself and do something positive to make yourself and your existence better. I mean that with all the positive vibes I can muster.[/quote'] What do you suggest I do then? I'm all out of ideas other than settling for a fattie. Oh I understand perfectly how this happens' date=' but it seems like you are predisposed to make horrible choices, instead of accepting as excusable why these people commit such heinous acts do something to avoid that at all costs. Don't excuse it, fight against it. And guess what your fight will be two fold you will not inflict an unnecessary tragedy onto innocent bystanders and you will improve your existence while you are at it. You have been blessed enough to have the intelligence and lucidity to see how these patterns evolve into irreparable ones, you are in full control of your destiny, there is NO excuse, unless you are psychotic. Are you psychotic?[/quote'] I'm not saying it's excusable, I'm just stating how it happens. I have been fighting against it for a long time. Sodini fought against it for 20 years. He lost. All I am saying is that I'm losing that battle too. I am in full control of my destiny, but sometimes as a human being your instincts take over or you lose control due to insanity. The whole point of my argument is I am in control right now, but I likely will not be in the future. No no' date=' this is the prefect platform for that topic. Please explain how this is other's problem.[/quote'] Sure, but I don't want to hi-jack the topic of this thread so I'll start a new thread and link the topic. I'm not sure if I'll write it tonight as I am tired, but I'll definately take the time to make a well thought out post on this topic. Well keep at it' date=' you are clearly not getting the help you need. Do not stop until you get the necessary help to get you out of this thought process you are in now.[/quote'] I agree I'm not getting the help I need. The problem is at this point I don't know what to do. Do you have any suggestions? Why are you in solitude do you not have family and friends? Is there no one in your life that cares about you? Or is this just a relationship you choose to have with women in general because your dating life is not going as you wish? I have friends and family, but the prolong lack of companionship of the opposite sex, the constant rejection from an entire gender (sexually and emotionally), and hopelessness of ever finding someone is psycologically damaging to your mind. There have been countless studies to prove this (if you doubt this I will get the links). There is a emotional and sexual need built into our genetics that you can't get from family and friends. Yes there are plenty of people who go a long time single without mass murdering people, but this (new) type of isolation is much different than we have ever seen in our society. In the *vast* majority of cases, ESPECIALLY among women, if she is single for a long time it's because she wants to be, despite what comes out of her mouth. Pretty much any woman, even fatties, can get into a relationship the instant they choose to. The type of lack of companionship I was talking about earlier is the total rejection from society, which is what is emotionally damaging.

You have got to be kidding me? didn't you bother to notice that study was done on all older people seniors in their 70s? At that age yes our brains do begun to deteriorate thats inevitable. Well of course they do it on old people. If they did it on an overweight teenager and a thin teenager, there's not enough years of degeneration. What you do is look at old people and measure the RELATIVE DIFFERENCE.

SoulSearch_CO Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Well, not obese, but the higher end of being fat, near obesity. When I say settle for a fattie, I was talking about settling for a around 25-35lb overweight, but when you're talking about 50lb+ overweight, fck that I wouldn't even be able to get it up. Um. You do understand that about 30 lbs overweight IS obese, right?
