OpenGL Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Any other guys, who for the most part have no game but are otherwise normal (average looks, good career, nice apartment, not in debt, etc), end up with just settling for a fattie? I'm at the point of considering it but I don't know if I can go through with it since I find fatties so unattractive. I've tried learning game but it hasn't been working for me, so I don't really know of another way out. I don't want to turn into the next George Sodini, so settling for a fattie is increasing looking like something I should do. What do you guys think? Do any of you guys have any experience on what settling for a fattie is like?
redfathom Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 OH, this is so sad! Because you can't get a "hot" girl, because they don't want you...you will "settle" for a "fattie". Maybe said "fattie" is setteling for you.
quankanne Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 maybe you should try dating hot men. It'd be a vast improvement from "lowering" yourself to dating undesirable women. Apparently, there's a site for an international gay community that looks promising!
Lucky_One Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 WTF is "game"? Is that a synonym for a charming personality, semi-decent intelligence and good wit?
loveslife Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 If I get real heavy can I be the one you settle for?? Please?
donnamaybe Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I can tell, just from the title of this thread, why you don't have a girlfriend.
loveslife Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I can tell, just from the title of this thread, why you don't have a girlfriend. You keep away from him donnamaybe, he's mine!
donnamaybe Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 You keep away from him donnamaybe, he's mine! Tell you what. We'll arm wrestle for him. Loser gets the guy.
alphamale Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 What do you guys think? i don't think you should do it mainly cause you may not even be able to get an erection with her
loveslife Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Tell you what. We'll arm wrestle for him. Loser gets the guy. Well, if I get fat for him I can just sit on you!
alphamale Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 plus the cost to reinforce the bed and sofa and get a larger fridge isn't worth it. you could spend that moola on good looking call girls
Sistine Chapel Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 haha, I'm sorry this whole thread is funny. But for serious, take some advice. Get out on your own, talk to girls, don't even ask for the number, just talk to them. Sure if you're not a 10 yourself don't expect to find a 10 that wants to jump in bed with you just so you can drool all over her. But you will find yourself finding the type of girls that will give you the time of day, and you will find your league. You will get rejected a lot, but bounce right on back, improve yourself. Who knows, maybe eventually your may up your game, but don't expect you can "score" a hottie / intelligent girl with your current attitude. Work on yourself, but also be yourself. But if being yourself is who you where in your first post, I feel for ya man, I really do. Edit: Also, it is not a game, it's life. You live it, you breath it, just relax and take it as it comes. Share your experience with others, don't just try to play them.
donnamaybe Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Maybe you should just get a plant. A very skinny one. I would suggest a spider.
dreamergrl Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 A very skinny one. I would suggest a spider. Minimal leaves, no need to add bulkiness. Maybe a fake one too...
Jersey Shortie Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Maybe you should just get a plant. Or an apple pie.
Isolde Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Minimal leaves, no need to add bulkiness. Maybe a fake one too... I would recommend a desiccated cactus. Nice to look at if you're into skinny, but not very huggable!
Sam Spade Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 The odds are against you. Only about 30% of the people in this country can be considered non-fat. Moreover, while somewhat more women are of healthy weigh compared to men, overweight women are more likely to be obese than overweight men. Given that overweight is the new normal :rolleyes:i think it is not unreasonable to be pissed . So i suggest alternative strategy: establish what's your minimum treshold for attractiveness, and go for it; chances are, even in that case there will be some pudge to hold onto .
alphamale Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Given that overweight is the new normal so fat is the new skinny?
Jaytb Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Why don't you just ask out girls you find attractive? and if you don't find one, then make your life worth living without a girlfriend. You don't need to drag someone's weight into your own struggles.

Where do you get these "statistics" from. I would be happy for you to site some sources. Otherwise I think there is a gross manipulation going on here. And while current culture dictates a certain ideal weight more often for women then it does for men, it doesn't mean that that is healthy either. Alot of the standards for women's body are pretty unrealistic. Women in magazines mostly starve themselves and work overtime to look like that and use photoshop to the max. Beyonnce has love handles I hate to tell you. Women with real lives, don't have the time to be show pieces just so men can feel proud of themselves for banging somethign that doesn't eat. While I do think that there is an obecity epidemic. I think our currently cultural standards of women's bodies, fat AND skinny, are grossly misrepersented and both are too far on each side. Some women that are "pudgy" are quite healthy. Others not. Some women that are skinny can be healthy or not. And I see more fat men then I do women to be honest.

I've learned through online dating that fat is now referred to as "average" by most women describing themselves. Which (technically) is correct since most people are fat, therefore fat = average. Even if you do marry a skinny woman, odds are likely she'll become a fattie eventually. Women especially tend to blow up like balloons after the wedding. I've only known a handful of women that have maintained a desirable figure over a long period of time. Most of them have been divorced a time or two, so they have to keep their figure to keep attracting men.
Jersey Shortie Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Why is it that men become so self righteous on this topic yet are probably packing a little weight themselves.
Lucky_One Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 64% of Americans are considered overweight or obese (26% of them are considered obese). If the current trend continues, 74% of Americans will be overweight or obese by 2015, with 41% obese. That isn't some standards coming from Allure or Cosmo. Those are the standards from the Metropolitan Weight tables, the US Army, the North American Assoc for the Study of Obesity or the US Center for Health Statistics (to name a few) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obesity_in_the_United_States Where do you get these "statistics" from.
