tkgirl Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I change my cologne according to the season... don't ask me why! I love Origins... Ginger Essence in the winter and Shedonism in the summer... except now they stopped making it and I got a lot of compliments on it... go figure. I also like the new Pacifica colognes.. especially Waikiki Pikake. Oh, and I love Kai Cologne too... I guess I'm kind of a cologne junkie!
tkgirl Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Screw fragrances . My ideal date would take a shower, then run 5 miles, then show up on the data right after . hot!!!
Pyro Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Its not just for dates but for any special occassion I switch it up between 3 different colognes. Aqua Di Gio Davidoff Coolwater (I've been using this since I was 17. My all time favorite) Nautica Voyage

Pyro Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 ::takes a wiff of pyro::: mmmm. lol Thanks. I don't like to stink. A great smelling perfume on a woman is a huge turn on.

I actually don't like cologne on a guy... or it has to be super subtle. I prefer the natural smell of the man.. like there was this surfer I dated that smell like the ocean (he surfed every day) and I loved it!

The only thing I know by name that smells great is that lovespell from Victoria Secret.
Bejita463 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I use Beyond Paradise, but since my sense of smell is horrid I am never really sure if I am wearing enough of it for anyone to even notice. I don't want to be that person who walks around with a throat clenching cloud of cologne/perfume following them. I'd wager 2 spritzes on my chest aren't likely to cause that though. I've been told the scent 'smells like me' so I hope it does not smell like Athlete's Foot, because I would never know if it did. Cologne all smells the same to me.

You won't be accused of bathing in cologne.
missdependant Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I like how men smell without any cologne. Obviously, they need to shower daily.. but my favorite smell in the entire world is my BF a few hours after he's gotten out of the shower.
caramel c Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Beautiful by Estee Lauder or Coco Chanel Mademoiselle
bluewolf17 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Oh, and on Men I love Dolce and Gabbanas signature scent called Dolce and Gabbana. I also love Burberry Brit.
Meaplus3 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I always pull out Armani Code. Most men have told me that really like it. Mea
Jilly Bean Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Eh. I only have one perfume and I wear it whenever. Clinique Happy. + 1. Been wearing Happy for years. Love it. Also, I love to wear L'eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake. Get tons of compliments on both, but I think sometimes it's just a pick-up line from guys. lol I also have a lot of other perfumes I'll wear on occasion - Trish McEvoy, Next, Thierry Mugler, Tommy Girl...
jerbear Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I don't wear any cologne on the first date and usually wear Emporio Armani Night on the second date.. I did wear John Varcvatos once and it was interesting. On women I usually like Shalimar. L'eau d'Issey is nice along with Neige would catch my attention. The unfamiliar ones I would ask.
Mz. Pixie Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Summer- D&G Light Blue or Daisy by Marc Jacob Winter- Euphoria by Calvin Klein or Armani Code.
Jersey Shortie Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Well not really but I do have a favorite bottle that I save for special occasions. Opium is my fav. perfume.
donnamaybe Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Well not really but I do have a favorite bottle that I save for special occasions. Opium is my fav. perfume. Don't save it too long because perfumes can sour. I wear Obsession by Calvin Klein and get lots of compliments from both men and women. I don't do a "special occasion" thing. I just always wear the same.
2sure Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I wear women's Armani Code - I like many other scents but this one works for me. Also, I'm glad donnamaybe mentioned obsession because I used to love that and not many people wear it anymore...
Lish Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I have two perfumes that I switch between, although I do have a few others.. Miss Dior Cherie (probably my favourite)... and Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb.
stepka Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I love perfumes but most disappear on me 10 after I put them on. Recently I went shopping for something that I like that won't go away so quickly and bought a bottle of Prada L'homme. Yes I know, it's for men and I'm a woman, but I love the way it smells on me. It sort of has a light, exotic, musky fragrance with hints of baby powder--very sophisticated. Zen by Shisheido was my favorite for years and still is, but it's one that goes away so quickly that it's not even worth the trouble to put on.
