acarls20 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I've been dating a guy for about two months. We chat everday online and on the phone. We'e had around 7 very long dates. He slept with me on the fifth. I was a virgin. I was fairly certain he'd want to commit to me. Last week, I decided to ask about where we stand. He still wants to see other people. I want commitment. At first I almost agreed to friends with benefits or dating without commitment. I felt that would get me no where fast and he'd just hurt me in the long run. So I said I could be friends with him and thats it. He was adamant that we'd still be friends. He let me say some harsh things to him especially since he took my virginity and he felt bad about that. We talked basically all day about it. I still really really like him. Did I make the right choice? Is there any way to win him back?
pandagirl Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Yes, you absolutely made the right choice. Good for you. Stick to your guns!
Author acarls20 Posted August 30, 2009 Author Posted August 30, 2009 Thanks, the decision was very recent. It hurts a lot. He is a very kind boy. He knows he made a mistake with me and he did everything wrong. It is weird because right now he's a jerk and a nice boy at the same time. It sucks because honestly he is my friend.

He has no obligation of any sort to you, especially not because you hadn't had sex before him. You aren't going to get him back; move on with your life.
