I called after a few days and thanked him, and said that he clearly had his reservations with us, as did i, and thank you for ending thing before it got really nasty" he said thank you and that he really appreiciated that. I haven't left any angry texts, calls, emails, etc at ALL. I have been crying my eyes out but have gone to the gym every day and not let him see it. here's the issue. I want to do NC, and I want to get back with him. The NC has been about 6 days already and he's IM'ed me once and called me once. I have not responded. But -- we live in the same neighborhood and i have already run into him 3 times just running errands. i have been pleasant and totally normal, haven't chatted with him for more than 5 minutes, and always seem happy and busy. (i can't believe i've been able to pull it off). but does this ruin the point of NC? since he's seeing me around does that mean he wont miss me or wonder what I'm up to? advice please. thanks

I hate it but I'll stay strong and eventually seeing her will no longer phase me.
