I asked a girl out for Breakfast, first time us meeting up just the two of us.

I had a lot of good reasons to do this at the time, but I realise that she doesn't know that, and it's a bit funky for a first date. Usually it's a PM event on a first date.

I'll stand by breakfast (especially in this case, because I really want to get to know this one, in addition to being attracted to her, so that was partially a motivator)

I'm just curious on how a woman would perceive it on her end, so ladies,

a) Breakfast a good first date?

b) What impression does it give off?

Lol, isn't lunch better? Most people are a bit groogy in the morning unless they are moring people.

Well at least the "hey it's late, let me put you to bed" line can't be used ;)

Anyway, I personally wouldn't care either way when the date was, aslong as I didn't get the impression he's cheap and didn't want to spend a decent amount of money on an evening meal....... and not that I'm materialistic, but evening meals cost more than breakfasts and if he chose breakfast for that reason, it'd be a bit annoying.

in my case, i'm a terrible morning person, and unless you want me to see in with no makeup and sweats, i wouldn't go on a breakfast date...

i would probably politely decline you and ask if lunch or late afternoon coffee would be better... actually scrap the lunch, that's too early for me to have to meet someone on a date. hahaha

Usually breakfast for me makes me think they're too busy for a lunch or dinner date and might be dating other people.

Not to mention, I don't really like breakfast food in general and I hate anything before tons of coffee.
