Since its par for the course to do a self examine of what went wrong in the relationship, at which point in retrospect did it start going down hill and the brakes didnt work!

I sat and thought about that MOMENT. You know, the moment that the "TALK" is coming to break up. Well I gotta say, being the dumpee, My stomach was in knots ( ladies sometimes know when its over before its over). So I stood there in sheer reality that Man-this-dude-is-going-to-give-me-the-breakup-speech. But how shocked I was that he kept it Real. He looked at me, Looked at the door, and in a stern yet not harsh way...said. "GO". Ya see I call it the Doctor Seuss break up. Short. One word and it GOT the message across. There wasn't a drawn out tears, fights, lets try again. It was the GO. Move on in life. We are thru. To this day that Guy is my friend. Weird that we are, we even laugh about it since he is married and I am welcomed in his home as a houseguest. His wife is endearing too in my life. She'll never know that her husband did the best breakup ever but in my eyes I admired his clean cut. So just wanted to share that sometimes Keeping it as simple as that can be okay for each person. Certainly saved on Tissues or wondering. Maybe in my scenario, I knew it was over before it was said...I just needed to hear that one word.

Curious if others ( looking in restrospect) Found the line that did work to just make that clean break....?
