PinkToes Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I'm perplexed. I've been hearing recently about a lot of women who meet a guy, move in together -- often combining families -- and have kids together. And then the relationship ends, and the women are so shocked and hurt when the guy leaves, because she just assumed they'd get married eventually. I'm not suggesting that everyone should get married just because they want to have kids. But if marriage and a family is what you really want, why would you settle for less than the complete package? Why do some women assume that if they have kids with a guy, marriage will follow?
