lucy9216 Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 My friends and I often hang out at a local country night club, I have always noticed the DJ there but before I was in a relationship so it didn't matter. Now I am no longer in a relationship and I talk to him sometimes because I also am friends with other people that work there so he occassionally comes over to our group and talks with us. He seems cool and he is attractive, not drop dead georgious but he would be my type. I guess I find this tricky to show him that I would be interested without seeming like every other drunk girl that probably hits on him towards the end of every night. How can I make myself stand out without looking like a desperate drunk girl?

Don't present yourself like you are on the hunt. Don't get drunk. Go and talk to him, but talk to him about stuff that the average girl doesn't talk about. Don't flirt. Take an interest in what he does, without making it look like you are motivated only by getting in his pants. The way to stand out is to make yourself different from every other woman there. Watch what they do, and do things entirely differently.
