smookie Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 So I have not been talking to my ex as it was going really good for me and I thought that he was getting it together as well. Well for the past 4 days he is contacting me non stop. I do not want to hear his voice because then I start to miss him more so I text him back asking what he wanted then he will call me again on my cell phone. Due to him contacting me so often I asked him if he has lost his job. He said that he quit his job. Anyways now he just contacts me with nothing to really say. I will sit there for a few minutes not even hearing a word from him so I always say ok well theres no need to stay on the phone with nothing to say. I am also helping him find another job as I am much better at resumes and computers then he is. He has been dropping hints that he wants me to submit his resume to a few companys out here. I move 3 hours away from him. He the whole time sad that he can not stand the thought of being with another woman because we are selfish.. I do nto know why he is now after 3 months without talking to me about this planning on maybe moving here? He will not bring it up in conversation directly but he does say it when he asks me to send the resumes?? So I have had a long weekend with this thought. Then all of a sudden today on one of the phone calls he said that he would like to email his resume to this one company out of prov. Why is he doing this? I did send him a email tonight saying that I really hated missing him and the contact had to stop again because it is over whelming to me. He said he would never have contact with me that he could never be my friend because it pulls us back together then he is asking for these favors... I so do not get men sometimes

My ex left me, and she seems quite happy to text me, gibber away on the phone. If I have to, I respond by email, but then she responds by calling. I dont pick up. This is how they tend to behave regardless of gender. Kind of keeping up contact and being very vague and NON-COMMITAL. Take the rug out from under his feet and tell him to **** off. It sounds like life has not exactly been birlliant for him since you two split and he is trying to make things easier for himself by getting back to a cosy, safe relationship so that he can rebuild his life and then, sadly, move on again. And you are helping him (assisting with his CV etc.) and making things worse for yourself. Also, he is thinking about moving near you. How great would that be for him? A new life in a new place but with a nice, safety net in the shape of YOU, smookie. You deserve more and I think you know it. Take care. T
