JLT123 Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Let me prface this by saying I'm coming out of a pretty rough breakup from about 7 months ago, so this is my first real attempt at developing something with another person. I'm playing it well so far, or as near as I can tell. We went out on one date about 4 weeks ago and had a very good time. Had a second date two weeks ago and, again, had a good time. We never run out of things to say, whether it's in person or on the phone. We talk on the phone sometimes for upwards of a couple hours often times, and text each other throughout the day often. On both dates we ended up making out at the end, so I can only assume there's a mutual attraction. I have my son every other weekend, so it kind of makes it hard for us to catch up every weekend, and I'm not at the point just yet where I should be bringing her around him. So she told me tonight she would just be taking it easy since she's going out tomorrow, and I asked if she wanted to talk on the phone later. Everytime I've suggested that in the past, she's always said, 'sure', but today she texted 'hopefully'. I tend to read into things A LOT, and tend to overthing the negative many times. So should I look at that as a sign she's starting to lose interest? I know, I'm neurotic.

She could mean she "hopefully" could talk to you before she had to go to sleep for tomorrow, or "hopefully" in that you'll have enough time, or "hopefully" anything really. You are over thinking it. Stop.
