After seeing some posts I'm curiouse how many guys out there who are single... or when they were single met girls by flirting with and chatting up girls they met at the park, bank, mall ect.

When I was single I did chat up and get dates by meeting girls around town. But I would have to say that most of my friends were shyer then me and would not approach and flirt with girls they had just met.

First gf was actually on facebook. She was in my class but I never got the courage to talk to her. Eventually, talking through AIM and facebook we fell for each other and finally met which lead to the biggest mistake of my life :o... this new girl I met on FACEBOOK again lol. She was on my friend's list and I had no idea who she was so I just started talking to her. Met her at a party and now I'm pretty into her.

In the past I too went on girls who I asked out on facebook... facebook chat to be exact. Good luck with your new girl, treat her good

I met a hot surfer girl this week while surfing. I talked with her first and we eventually sat on the shore and talked a while. Too bad she's hours away from me, but it was a good experience. Same deal with this girl in this restaurant I go to. I finally got her number the other day, but she's going 5 hours away for school this week. =/

When there are actually girls from my location in a public place, it doesn't happen. They're usually too pissy and stuck up to talk.

The current guy i'm into we met through a mutual friend at a party (how cliche!) Anyway, we've been developing our friendship/relationship/whatever weird thing we have for so long that neither of us are friends with that mutual friend anymore.

When I first came to college, I saw one girl around that I liked but I didn't know how to talk to her. I could tell she kinda liked me too. Then one day I saw a post on a friend's wall and recognized her in the pic. I friended her - big mistake. It not only looks creepy to her since you don't know her name, but it also shows you have no balls to do it in person.

I'll never use facebook that way again.

Quite an aproacher you are, asking girls for numbers at resteraunts. But personaly I find the Waitress number grab the riskiest. I always felt bad asking a waitress for a number not that it stopped me, but I assumed they got hit on all day.

I think meeting at a party is one of the best ways to meet some one. Its way better then a bar or club in my opinion. And your more likely to meet a date type person at a friends party then at the supermarket.

Agreed. I know it works for some people to date others that they meet at a club but most of the time, it doesn't last long.
