My wife left me three weeks ago. I met a young widow through some friends of mine. Its soon, but I got dumped and told to move on by a wife who is by everyone else's account a loser. I love her but I'm not waiting by the phone.

The young widow wants to go quadding and fishing. She has her own boat and a new truck. She's cute too and she's fun. I'm 46 and she's early thirties and looking for a nice guy. Her cousin is a close personal friend who introduced us. I had refrences. She'll even come bear hunting. She's very nice and independant. Very sexy to me. To all the men out there suffering, there is hope. Do the 180 to the ex, and put a new woman in her face ASAP. THen stay with the new one, cause you were always a nice guy and never wanted to hurt anyone. Wow.

it's a little too soon to date, not that there's anything wrong with that. The bs has every right to move on, but they should give themselves time to grieve and decompress from the ending relationship before moving to a new one.

What im more concerned is that you and the new woman may be a great fit, but what if the ex comes back and she pulls at your heart strings what are you gonna do. Are you gonna be strong the day that happens?

I agree with everyone, go slow... I got involved with a guy too soon after his seperation and I ended up being the one that got hurt. He went back to his ex wife and didn't even tell me. I was really hurt.

He assured me over and over again they were thru.... he could never take her back, etc. I kept telling him to take more time that I didn't want to be a rebound. So much for his knowing for sure.

Now he is back with her and he didn't even think enough of me to tell me.

Just wanted to tell you to remember that you are grieving, no need to rush. It will only hurt the new person if you jump too quickly.

I stood by her side for twenty six years. Everything is my fault. I certainly wasn't perfect. She told me she wished I was dead. She had no more affection for me. She returned to a family where she had been a victim of incest at the hands of her brother. I had to tolerate those pigs. She chose them over me. I'm the one who got her out 17 years prior. I wasn't perfect but I put up with an incest victim who would elbow me whenever I'd kiss her cheek in the middle of the night. That stopped pretty quick. I was there for the two kids, the plugged tear ducks, the pace maker. She used me, then threw me to the curb. Now her hormones are out to lunch (pre-menopause). She's a bitch, a little f..n bitch. I'm happy and she's getting depressed. She was in heaven two weeks ago seeing me melt. Now its payback time. She ain't coming back. She wants her money bad. The estimator is coming next week to see the house and there won't be much to see (no furnace, 20 yr roof, unfinished reck room, no final on the house). F.. her. I got a new girl now. She's gonna twist in the wind if I have it my way and its a long way yet to pushin daisies for both of us. I loved her to death. She stopped. Payback is a bitch with a Libra. What am I supposed to do? Wait six months for the same thing to happen again. Take your slob and shove it.

I have read your previous threads and just wow at what you have both been through. Even if she were to go back to you, there would just be more of the same pain. Some things are beyond repairing. You did your best. Always remember, you weren't the one to give up, she did. Enjoy the new gf in your life and hope you get some happiness out of it. You sure could use it, there has been too much sadness for you.

I do agree with the other posters though. You are hurting and need time to grieve, so don't rush it, just enjoy it, take it nice and easy. If the W does return, I would advise you to run. Hope you will be strong enough to do that.

You deserve to be loved and to love in return.
