There's somebody out there for everybody and if you're so far gone you can't approach them naturally, as yourself, you may as well pack it up. This is rather ignorant of you. A lot of guys DO have issues. Not everyone is born with the ability to be socially accepted and desired by women. I actually have always been a pretty good natural at attracting women but some of the books out there were fascinating and good reads and actually showed me why some of things I did worked. There are great tools out there for guys who need them. Props to them for bettering themselves!

The guy just specialized in internet marketing -- which gave him the necessary cred as a so called 'dating guru.' Not to hate, studying his stuff only helps to an extent, since most his posts aren't fully drawn out, neither are they linear.

Im not going to knock a guy thats tried talking to women with no success for trying to see what hes doing wrong. Sometimes you REALLY cant see what the problem is, and if youre not getting any success at all, its hard to see what exactly you can tweak to help. I dont think books are the solution at all, but neither is trying and failing over and over again. Thats the fastest way to having NO confidence in yourself. And lets be honest, other guy friends arent going to be of much help, so where do you turn? I know in a perfect world its easy to say 'just be confident', but if you can read any book and it helps even slightly, I say thats money well spent.

Guess what ?.. they didn't work.. and that ad in Mad Magazine said it would Were those the ones which had little spirally things instead of eyepieces?.... takes me back a bit

Alpha males or stronger males in the tribe would get 2-3 or even more women, and large percentages of men got no women. Read any book on evolutionary biology and that's printed all over the place.

I think the men that tend up not getting anyone at all are men who are simply insecure and not confident (and happy) with who they are. Once you love and respect yourself in healthy ways, you'll attract the right woman for you.
