St. Nick Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 In my friend's apt. complex there is this bitter, stuck-up shrew of a female who always gives me trouble. I've gotten into a little trouble at the complex for getting drunk and a little rowdy a few times, but nothing to involve the police over. But each time she was there and she blew up the situation worse than it really was by incessantly nagging and complaining. She knows my friend and he's cool with her, and they sometimes hang around together. Anyway, lately she's been hanging around with my friend more and she has a friend of her own. Some green-eyed, redheaded cutie who is into me. So last Sunday the four of us were having an afternoon BBQ on my buddy's porch and during this the redhead gives me her number. Later on the redhead tells her friend about this and her friend says, "Eww. Yer going with him. That's disgusting. In order to like him you'd really have to lower your standards. I mean as low as a snake." When I heard this I blasted at her: "When was the last time you had a man? When was the last time you walked down the street and a guy didn't mistake you for one of those monsters from Cloverfield? For a bitter, overly-self-righteous, wanna-be transsexual you got a lot of nerve." And from there we had an argument. It didn't go over well. I still haven't called the redhead but I don't know if I made a good impression or not. But that's not what I wanna know. I wanna know the following: 1. Why are there so many stuck-up, bitter witches in this country? 2. Why do they hang out with all the cute females? 3. When women are secretly jealous of their friends, do they try to sabotage their relationships by giving bad advice? 4. How come so many chicks have a problem with making their own decision and let their friends c**kblock everything?
torranceshipman Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Lol...are you a troll? In case you're not - There are lots of cute, mature, sweet, very un-bitter females out there who are nice to know. If you think a girl isn't very nice, then simple, stop hanging out with her. I doubt the redhead is into you if you trash talked her friend and if she IS still into you after that, then clearly loyalty isn't one of her better qualities (that's if they're true friends...if not, then go for it but dump the other mean one as a friend-why hang out with people you don't like?).

The fact that you fired back at her says that you're a tad on the insecure side. Let it go. What significance does this woman play in your life? The answer is none. Be a bigger man and let it go.

I think CaliGuy's response to the situation is ideal. By stepping on the sh*t, you will inevitably get some of the stink on you. Just walk away next time.

EddieN Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Trashing me in front of a girl I'd like to go out with would annoy me too, but reacting that way only hurt you more. I think what I would have done is play along with her and sarcastically agree with all her put-downs, making what she said seem like a joke, all while eying the girl I like and grinning in a way that communicates between the two of you only, "I don't know what this girl is ranting about, but I'll just play along." If you could get her to ignore what her friend was spewing out and instead subtly laugh at your reaction to her, then that would score you major brownie points with her.
Jersey Shortie Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Agree with CaliGuy. Also, OP, do you think you can not call women names, even if you don't agree with them or don't even like them? It shows your own level of bitterness and sorry to say, a certain level of hate to women in general.
