That's not what I said... nice strawman.

Anyway.

You're asking why a business would inflate the effectiveness of their product? ..... Let me think about it. lol

So you admit martial arts does work then? Even for us girls? :p

But you ignored my first question:

it obviously worked well for the girl who beat my boyfriend at wrestling. And if I learn the same as her - why wouldn't I be able to beat him (and other guys) too?

Do you not think you may be reading a bit too much into what your boyfriend said? For example:

And I like told about a time when I was small and peed in my pants and once when my neighbour saw me naked through the window...

Does the peeing of your pants expose your vulnerability and lack of self control? Perhaps you were scared, and you have left with 'fear issues'. And maybe your neighbour seeing you brought out feelings of inadequacy and not being comfortable with your body? Or perhaps your neighbour is a voyeur?

Sound ridiculous? Maybe that's how your boyfriend feels.

It depends on what kind of fight it is.

Sparring with a friend, you would never use full force, that's why she might have a chance with martial arts techniques. Any sane person sees it's better to lose to a friend than to use violence in a way that the other person needs to go to a hospital. But in a 'real' unarmed fight, you will try to bash the other persons nose in, as hard as possible, as soon as it's clear that violence is unavoidable. The only good fight is one that is over before the other person even gets a chance to injure you, at all.

Sure, I agree. And I don't WANT to fight for real. But it really would be great to know how to defend myself. And if she could easily kick my boyfriends butt in wrestling, those techniques really got to be good :p

I guess not.

Your statement, that women can’t beat up a man, no matter how much training they have, is not only ignorant, but highly sexist. Women don’t practice martial arts to improve their pillow-fighting techniques, they do it to be able to defend themselves against men, since roughly around 90% if not more of violent crimes are committed by men. I guess they didn’t get the memo.

Yes, exactly!

Why don't you go to 10 "McDojo's" and ask for a fight with one of their female black belters, then come back and let us know how many times you won :)

If it would have been possible to do this in reality and if there was any way to prove that I had done it after:

I'd love to do this!

I'm sure I wouldn't lose any of those fights
