I always read womens body language, you can discover if she is attracted to you via body language, and if she is - and is showing it through body language, it wont really matter what you say/do she will be "ready"

I'd say put as little effort into it as you can just show enough, so it makes them like you. People like others who show an interest in them. smile whenever you see/talk to them. and look into their eyes as they speak, it shows you're paying attention and respond back to what they say, to show them that you're actually listening.
