No its not healthy, but hes letting it happen, so he wants it. Nothing you can do.

It's unhealthy. We have a friend similar.

 

What we've learned is that we are just going to have to let him learn the hard way. Talking to him about it will only make him more isolated, telling her to piss off will only make her more angry and take more away than she already has. You just have to let it play it's course.

 

Hopefully someday he'll come to his sense and realize the girl is no good. You can only offer to be his support when that day does come (and it will, trust me).

Is this the same guy you have a crush on and want to be with, but he doesn't want to be with you? If so, just let him be. I think your emotions are playing into this. He's an adult, and whether it's wrong or not or will hurt him or not is his decision. Maybe he really loves his girlfriend. Who knows?

He stays with her and puts up with it. Of course she is wrong but he could end it today by putting his foot down.

Being controlling is a bad thing in general. But some people prefer partners who are controlling.
