Ilovecake Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 First I see a picture of my ex and he looks Atrocious. Gained a bunch of weight, unshaven, looks like he hasn't slept in a month and has been drinking for 2 months straight. Now I find out he broke his leg. Karma sure works in mysterious ways. Before you guys scold me for being happy about the broken leg I should tell you he has broken many bones including 3 different ribs in 2 months. All drinking related, so I don't feel sorry for him.
greenparrot Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I know wishing someone bad is horrible, but I too have to say that the pain that she put me through, makes me wish is returned to her. Looks like this guy is digging a hole without you, he will realize that he was better with you.
deux ex machina Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Sounds like he's his own worst enemy. This would probably serve you best as a reminder of how you dodged that bullet, more than anything.

This would probably serve you best as a reminder of how you dodged that bullet, more than anything. That's it. It's more of a happy I'm not there to witness it anymore. Just a great reminder of the reasons why we broke up. I've been missing the good times and starting to forget the bad, this is a perfect wakeup call. heehee
Thornton Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 One of my exes requested me on Facebook a few years after he cheated on me and broke my heart, and I was overjoyed to see that he had gained a lot of weight and developed huge whiteheads all over his face. Then I immediately felt guilty because it's not nice to be happy about someone else's misfortune. I guess I liked the feeling of having had a lucky escape from someone who turned out that way, and it was also a sort of "serves you right" feeling because of how badly he treated me. Maybe I did feel like it was karma, because he had become as ugly on the outside as he always was on the inside - there was no excuse for the terrible way in which he treated me and the stress he put me through; in a way him losing his looks felt like revenge.
xpaperxcutx Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 My ex has a new gf but from last I've seen him and his pictures on myspace, he gained a ton of weight, and still living at home. I don't really care for it, but it makes me a little giddy knowing his gf was fat as well.
Thornton Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Yeah, one of my exes (around 220 pounds) always complained at me (125 pounds) for being fat. Boy, I loved seeing the photos of his latest gf on Facebook - she looks heavier than he is and she also has an unfortunate nose. I believe such feelings are called schadenfreude
