I just looked back at my old posts. There is one from me on 30th May 2009, a week after she left and the day I discovered this site.

In this post, I am VERY hurt but still deluded and a bit hopeful. I talk about having a break down and crying at work. I remember that. And I now realise just how far I have come. It might not feel like it all the time (had a particularly hard day today) but I really am in a MUCH better place now. And I saw this as soon as I read my old posts.

Try it. I can see that it may make you feel worse, so think carefully before you do it. But for me, it really helped.

On my first post, boogieboy says things about moving on, not contacting and how he used to feel like me but now knows the reality. At the time, I was a bit cross about this post, but now I see that boogieboy was exactly right, as have been countless others. So thanks. Experience is everything.

Taucher,

You've given great advice along the way. I am glad you see the progress in your journey. Good for you. It's amazing how we all heal - some differently, but we all are still the dumpees who survived!
