Ah geeze...the worst possible outcome after LDR...?!

4-week in-person dating, then now rounding out a 3-month LDR. I'd been talking to her about 2x a week recently. We'll be seeing each other in a couple o' weeks.

The catch? I enjoy talking to her and it's fun, but something deep inside tells me this won't last... I don't know if it's my LDR I-miss-her-in-real-life head talking or reality telling to cut my losses now, but I've set this thing up pretty badly I must admit.

So the potential outcomes include: 1. End it now with her (which begs the question how the hell would I do that decently if we see each other in 2 weeks - school) 2. Wait, see her, then a) end it b) continue the relationship.

I'm not sure what to do. I don't know if I'm just in a slump such that I'll be fine if I see her again. Something tells me that may not be the case, at which point I would have to end it now to save heart-ache later or do it once we see each other.

I know I really set this up poorly, but how should I think? What do I do? What should I do?

I would wait until you see her and see how you feel after spending some together in real life again. Sometimes when you're apart from your SO, you can feel detached but then as you spend time together, you get back into a pattern of being a 'normal' couple. If you end it now, you may regret not waiting to see how things go. It's only a couple of more weeks.

Just wait. It's only 2 weeks. What's 2 weeks?

Unless the reason you're with her is for fun and sex with no real feelings involved... in which case there's no point sacrificing two weeks to wait for her.
