I'm wondering - Let's say a man's affair is discovered. But he is somehow able to convince his wife that he didn't actually cheat.

Would he be more likely to turn over a new leaf or figure he can now get away with anything?

I'd say he'd keep cheating. After all, the experience has taught him that he's even better at deceiving his spouse than he'd thought when he was simply cheating. What incentive would he have to change his ways? Most cheaters need to suffer some kind of consequence before they change their ways.

That's called NOT being a man..It's called being a selfish liar who is scared of facing consquences and prefers to gaslight his wife, make her feel like she's the crazy one.

If you cheated on your wife and she knows, OWN UP TO IT, be man. Why would you try to hide it from her since she knows?

Yeah, I agree with both responses. He'd know he can do whatever he wants and she will believe anything he tells her. Not something a real man would do.
