Hi all LS posters,

As some of you might know, I've experienced some trauma this past 9 months. In the past month I feel like I've finally been able to start heal a little bit every day. All your posts have been very inspirational.

To my point: I decided to purge my demons by writing in a journal (constantly). A few days ago I had the great idea to write a memoir of sorts/book about how I've come to grips with some of my traumatic events, like my fiance leaving me in June. Here's what I'm planning. It will be a book that is grounded in stories about me and my ex, pre and post breakup, as well as some of my journal entries. It will include some advice "columns" and how-to-drawings. The whole thing is meant to be witty, somewhat biting, but mostly funny and entertaining. If you've ever read any of Anita Liberty's work, something along those lines without the poetry. (She's great by the way). It is not intended to be about me, but about how to deal with heartbreak using my experiences as an example. Plus, I think humor is a good way to overcome some of the pain.

So my question to you all is: If you could offer us poor, brokenhearted souls one piece of advice, whether straightforward or said in a humorous, witty, manner, what would you say? (If you like, I will give you full credit by your name on this site or any name of your choosing).

Thanks in advance! May all of us heal well over time.

I should point out that I am a writer/Ph.D., so I've had some experience with publishing before. Oh, and I'm very much willing to share some of what I've already written if you want a snippet, if only to cheer you up.
