Retrovertigo Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I met this girl at a course, i really like her alot and since the class ended we've kept in touch just by email and text. My gut feeling is that she isnt interested in me romantically but anyway i replied to one of her emails and said that we should meet up sometime, and as we had been talking about work, i ended the email by asking what time her lunch break was. (yes, stupid). I still think that makes it pretty clear that i'm into her. If she's not interested, should i expect her to be uncomfortable and ignore me from now on? I'm pretty sure she knows i like her.
Fay Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I don't think it's a huge deal. Lunch is a "safe date". Friends do lunch all the time. It's not that threatening. I wouldn't be weirded out at all if I was her. At most I'd politely decline and think nothing more of it.

If she doesnt mention it, ask again, and if she avoids it, then you kno shes not interested.
Author Retrovertigo Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 I left it kind of open, like 'we should meet up again sometime'. We haven't seen each other for a few weeks. That, plus my constant flirting with her when we were in contact, should probably make it obvious, i'm assuming. She was always a bit hot and cold with me though.
dreamergrl Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Why not just be direct and find out one way or the other?
