4givrnt4gtr Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 For you guys who have a LDR that started as a normal relationship, has it happen that once your SO was far away, and all you had was talking on the phone/aim etc with them, you liked them even more? My SO just left last weekend and the first day I was so scared that all I liked about him was gonna be forgotten now that he is far away. However, just talking to him makes me so so so happy. We've talked so much lately is crazy. I know it'll probably die down once his school starts but right now Im so happy talking to him. Today we talk literally the whole day. At work he chatted with me til i left, then a few hours later he called me and we watched a show we both like together while we were on the phone. During commercials he would tell me just random stuff he had watched during the day and even in the things he said it made me see what an amazing man he is and how much i love him. It feels so good and real, Im so happy despite him being far away. I think about it and i sound like a giddy school girl with a new boyfriend, and though we've dated for 8 months while he lived in my city, its awesome to see we still have lots to talk about. I miss him so much, but Im happy to feel that our relationship might actually make it thru these 10 months! Am i being a bit too optimistic? has this happened to anyone else??
