Why do men keep their dating profile after they have met someone?

Do they do it to boost their ego? this guy, he met this girl there. i messaged him and he said he is seeing someone. I still see him sign on with 50 fav's. He likes to chat so i wonder if he likes the attention.

I don't, and just as many women do that as men. It's all about the "grass is greener" theory where no matter how great the connection is, the next match might be their "soul mate", super model, Dr. McSteamy....depending on the gender....

 

That is the bad part of online dating....

The dating world in general is like that and you just see the evidence online. Do what *you* want and date who *you* want and if people who date more than one person are not attractive to *you*, don't date them

For me it's like window shopping. I said I'd never go online again, but I don't know where else to meet guys. I don't do bars or pick-up places, I live in a small town, and don't do alot of socializing where there are potential mates.

 

I don't make any contact, and my profile is hidden, while I am in a relationship. Now, I am at odds with myself because I am in limbo with my MM but not really ready to put myself out there. I also can't put my picture on there because I would be recognized by anyone who partakes in a specific activity.

 

I see alot of the same people who have been on there for years, but who am I to judge, I'm still on there LOL

 

But, I see a few potentials too, and because of the little string the MM has me hanging on, I don't feel right about contacting anyone, even just for a date.
