BTLC23 Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Is there any way to rebuild trust in a long distance relationship? I didnt cheat on my gf but she saw photos of me hanging out with other girls with another friend of mine at my house. She broke up with about 7 weeks ago for that but was losing interest in me anyway and i feel like i drove her further being clingy and needy when she officially broke up with me about 3 weeks ago. She is a very jealous person but would check up on me or anythign like that all. We used to se each other a lot even though it was a LDR like the whole weekend
Thomas X Forever Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 She has to be willing to let you rebuild the trust. And then, you do it by being honest over a long stretch of time. However, if I recall, you're broken up. You can't do anything.
Author BTLC23 Posted July 31, 2009 Author Posted July 31, 2009 That is true she broke up with me. I feel that this was the last straw on a list of things. She was losing interest in me as and this just sped up the process. I hope that if i give her space and time she might miss me. I no that the trust is not the same but i feel that is not the only factor influencing this. i think it was more everything else than the trust even though i know trust is really important in a long distance relationship. I still havent talked to her on the phone or in person about this i no its late because we broke up with over three weeks ago but i never said anything rational not that that helps with the emotions. All i did was panic and threaten to kill myself...it was terrible but thats how i felt at the moment. I am changing myself and gettn better every day and i want her to see that which may be hard because of the ldr. Any opinions? Weeks before the official breakup she asked if i saw the girls again which i had not she said that was bs so i know she still cared and i just drove her away further and especially with panicking i guess space is the only thing. What do you guys think do you agree I really would appreciate your input
