Author HsMomma Posted August 2, 2009 Author Posted August 2, 2009 I know you 2 had a great time together. Hey, BNB! Well, they missed their connecting flight, so she was supposed to be home at 4pm yesterday, but didn't get in til 7. Longest 3 hours of my life! I had to laugh...h & I were sitting in the waiting area & about 5 minutes before the flight was to land, I asked him if he thought I'd cry when I saw her. He laughed so loud, people around us looked over! "Well, YEAH!" I was gonna be a 'big girl' & NOT cry when I saw her. Needless to say, when she finally walked out & I could get her in my arms, I burst into tears. One of the first things she said (after saying how glad she was to be back & how much she'd missed us) was, "Man up, Momma. Don't cry!" I replied with, "I'm not a man, so..." She said, "Rub a little dirt in it." God, did I miss her! Last night was wonderful - we sat & talked for hours. She's still asleep this morning but I got up & made her her favorite blueberry muffins and can't wait to see her again. It is SO good to have her home! Thank the Lord she got home safely & she's back where she belongs - at home!! Life is good!
