True2form Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I'm a 7.5 to an 8 I guess. I'm a young, tall, slim brunette. I'm aware that I'm not everyone's cup of tea on the looks front but I'm proud of who I am, have never succumbed to anorexia or other eating disorders. I'm confident and happy about who I am. And I look quite a lot like my mum when she was younger and she was so pretty!! I'm very lucky

SummerLady Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Yes, I want you to honestly rate yourself (and tell me your gender) I will go first. I am a girl and am around 6.5 when I am at home in my trackies and no make up. When I get dressed up for work, I am probably 7.5. When I get dressed to go out I can be around an 8. So all in all, I would say that I am around a 7. I had my pics rated on hotornot, and they do rate higher than that but I feel like it's too easy to get good ratings on that site. So how hot are you? I cannot do this for myself. I am very very hard on myself and I almost hate getting compliments. I know when I look good and I know when I could look a lot better. I am short so I have to be in a certain weight range to look my best. My opinion of course. I am in that weight range now so I am happy BUT never thrilled. I am grateful though. I am working with what I have and working it good:)
sumdude Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Actually posted 2 different pics on hotornot. One got an 8.6 the other an 8.9 but that site is a little strange and they do grade on a curve to try and get the extreme samples out. I'll just say 7 + depending on who's looking. A woman who is really into me will say 10 and one isn't would say 5. I also think women aren't quite as visual as men and IRL ratings change a lot. I don't have those classic good looking american features. I have a broad chested frame and carry just a few extra. I have heard comments that I have an exotic look to me which I had never realized but it comes from my eastern european background.
northstar1 Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 We need Thomas X in here to give us a smoldering Blue Steel look and raise up the average score to a 9.
Phateless Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Wow, everyone in this thread is taking themselves way too seriously, arguing about objectivity and the observer, etc, etc. Lighten up, it's just a fun little game. HotorNot has said anywhere from 6 to 9 but most of my pics got an 8. That was a huge confidence boost because before that I thought I was a 5 or 6. Day to day I guess I consider myself an 8 ish because I wear a tie every day.
confused192 Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I would say I am about a 9 or 10. I have always had really high self-esteem. I have no complaints about myself looks-wise. Even though I greatly value brains over beauty any day, I am quite happy with what I see in the mirror. I am young and I am a model, although no runway because I am too short for that (5'7"). I also take extremely good care of myself. I can thank my mom and grandma for their genetic contributions...my grandma was a Vegas showgirl back before they were called showgirls and she was so stunning! My mom was also a model back in the day and she was beautiful and still is to this day. However, I can't forget dear ol' dad for the cute freckles on my nose and my dark brown hair with auburn highlights!

I'm a guy and I want to live one day as a super hot girl just to see what the perspective is like. I can only imagine what it's like, people gawking at you and giving you whatever you want all the time. Must be a trip...
confused192 Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I'm a guy and I want to live one day as a super hot girl just to see what the perspective is like. I can only imagine what it's like, people gawking at you and giving you whatever you want all the time. Must be a trip... Lol...actually, it is a trip. It's not always such a great thing, though. You never know when people like you for you or if they like you only based on how you look. It's hard for me to be friends with women and it's hard for me to be friends with men. Alot of my friends are other models because it's just easier. I don't notice when people look at me anymore because it makes me uncomfortable...I just walk around with blinders on and only focus my attention straight ahead. Of course, as a model, I get used to that as it is a necessary part of that job, but I don't appreciate being gawked at out on the street in my daily life. It's awkward when it happens more than a few times. Although there are times when you get funny lines from men and you just can't help but laugh. One random guy at Starbucks last week told me that I had 'an onion butt.' When I reluctantly asked what that meant (he had me intrigued), he said an onion butt is an ass so perfect that it brings tears to a mans eyes. I sort of smiled and left QUICKLY! By the way, I truly hope this didn't sound conceited...I am just being honest with how I feel about things. Part of me always worries that my confidence comes across as being sh**ty. That is not my intent.
Fay Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 Female. No makeup - 7 Makeup - 9... I'm a REALLY good makeup artist Guys' comments range from "she's pretty cute" to "she's outrageous", depending on the outfit, the hair/makeup, the time of month, the tastes of the guy, or which way the wind is blowing. I have two physical flaws: my eyes are plain and brown, nothing special to look at; and my butt is utterly shapeless, with cellulite to boot even though I'm slender. Yuck. HotOrNot does overrate everyone's pics with their weighted score system, in my opinion. Of course, that's what keeps you coming back Think about it... when's the last time you saw someone on there with a score of 3? And yet you know damn well there's a lot of 3s in the world!
dreamergrl Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I have two physical flaws: my eyes are plain and brown, nothing special to look at I used to think this about my eyes, but I've grown to love my brown eyes.
stepka Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 A new perspective: I'm middle aged now and coming out of a very long marriage so I honestly have no idea how attractive I am, but some very good-looking men have flirted with me, and some have told me that I've still "got it." That said, I think I'm beautiful to some men, average to others, and very unattractive to some. About like the rest of us average people probably. As I age though I've been blessed with good skin so I think I look better than most women my age. Also, I'm only 20 lbs overweight, lol! However I didn't really get a whole lot of responses on a dating site so I'm not sure if it's my looks or my age or something else entirely. I did get a lot of responses from young men curious about dating older women though. I took my profile down finally b/c it was becoming an unhealthy obsession, since I'm trying to work on my spirit, not focus on my looks and dating.
Trialbyfire Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I used to think this about my eyes, but I've grown to love my brown eyes. While my brown eyes never bothered me, I used to have fun with coloured contacts, in blue, green and gray. It's fun to change eye-colour, just like it's fun to change hair colour!
Fay Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I used to think this about my eyes, but I've grown to love my brown eyes. See, but it's not just about their brownness... for example, my boyfriend also has brown eyes but his are beautiful because of their shape, very alluring. Mine just kinda sit there, lol I took my profile down finally b/c it was becoming an unhealthy obsession, since I'm trying to work on my spirit, not focus on my looks and dating. You're a woman. The men will come. It's unavoidable unless you're grossly disfigured

It's fun to change eye-colour, just like it's fun to change hair colour! I did this with green! It was weeeird. I wanted to try blue, but my eyes are too dark.
Trialbyfire Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I did this with green! It was weeeird. I wanted to try blue, but my eyes are too dark.A friend of mine also has very dark eyes. What works for her are hazel and gray. They both lighten up her eye-colour enough so it's different.
Balthazar Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I am an 8.5 incher....oh wait... we aren't talking about that are we?
Bejita463 Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 On a scale of 1-10 I am at least Completely Awesome. ...wait, am I doing this right?
Lizzie60 Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I used to think this about my eyes, but I've grown to love my brown eyes. I much prefer brown eyes ... Men with blue eyes don't attract me.. for some reason... Give me a tall, dark and handsome anytime over a pale blue eye blond.. anytime.. I love my brown eyes.. btw I think those coloured contacts are creepy.. they look sooo fake.. eewww..

dreamergrl Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 I am an 8.5 incher....oh wait... we aren't talking about that are we? The last guy that said that to me ended up over exagerating by 2.5 inches :lmao:
Fay Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 The last guy that said that to me ended up over exagerating by 2.5 inches :lmao: Men always err by a margin of 1-2 inches. They add an inch or two to their height and their penis size, and subtract the same from their waist size. Somewhere in every man's closet there's an oddly stretched-out funhouse mirror. I've never found it, but I know it's in there somewhere. I'll bet the farm on that one.
shadowplay Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 While my brown eyes never bothered me, I used to have fun with coloured contacts, in blue, green and gray. It's fun to change eye-colour, just like it's fun to change hair colour! Colored contacts are fun in theory, but unfortunately I've never seen regular light-colored ones that appear natural, especially up close. You can go from blue or green to brown pretty convincingly, but it doesn't seem possible to do the reverse. The only convincing light colored contacts for brown eyes I've seen are custom painted and cost upwards of 150 dollars a pair. It's really hard to capture the depth and luminosity of real irises. That's why they invariably look fake.
