I had a date last night! It wasn't bad actually. I got taken out for dinner and a few drinks. The was a few weird quiet moments. He was good looking. I got a hug good bye. I'd probably see him again. Although, no 'wows' popped out, but ya never know what could happen on a second date.

I'm finally dating with out expecations. Which is nice. I've had a few other dates since I move to Denver, but def no attraction with the others.

We'll see what happens.

Oh, the only thing that sort of bugs me, and just a little bit, is he's 37. He doesn't look it, but it's a 10 year age gap. I've done this a few times. It didn't work out, not because of the age though.

good for you! :) Things will no doubt be better for you out there. Try to let go of past insecurities from what we'll call your "former (dating) life". A fresh start!

There's been so many days here that I'd just be out and about with a huge smile on my face. I'm making friends, going out on dates, being less dependant. It's great. It's also great dating without expectations. I don't feel so rushed out here to find the perfect man for me. It will come

EVERYTHING is treating me well. I love being out here. With the small exception of my roommate (which will be fixed soon). Meeting people is easier, dating is easier, there's more to do here. I love it! I had a little help lately from a book called "Cope with it!". It's given me tons of insight on how to better every type of relationship in my daily life.
