I think I have an anger problem, I know everyone probably handles their anger differently. I am not sure if my anger is abnormal or maybe it could fall under the 'normal' category, I am pretty sure it doesn't though. Heh.

I got so pissed off a couple days ago at a friend, who I can't exactly trust anymore. I was furious and I ended up punching a hole in our newly painted walls. Now that's the only time I've actually done that....Later on, when I went back to look at that hole in the wall it freaked the hell out of me. I didn't know that I had that much anger pent up in me. After I had done that, I didn't even think about the fact that my hand was basically bleeding or that I was in complete pain...The only reason why I noticed it was because my wife had asked what the hell did I just do.

I've gotten into a couple of fights with other people, when I was upset. I am not exactly seeing a good pattern here. lol :o

I am wondering mainly how much of a problem this is...I remember my dad had a lot of problems dealing with his anger but he just turned to drinking instead.

Hey, you don't have an anger problem. You get angry, you see red, you do things that "freak you out" when you come back down...no problem.

You could turn your anger thing into a drinking thing like your dad.

Hey, you wouldn't have a drinking problem. You'd drink, you'd get drunk, you'd fall down...no problem.

But seriously, you're wondering how big a problem it is. Well, that's for YOU to say. If you don't mind the skinned knuckles, constant drywall patching, bruised toes, dented fenders, car crashes, finding new friends and spouses to replace the ones you drive or scare away, finding new jobs to replace the ones you'll lose, then it's not a big problem.

Inappropriate anger is corrosive of the good things in this life.
