Woke up this morning so angry at my ex, want to contact posting here instead

Basically my ex abused me, used me, dumped me (3 years). She sent birthday gifts a few weeks back, I eventually sent them back with a text saying, I am sending them back to keep my self respect. She then replied 24hours later, I respect you decision and wish you well.

I woke up this morning so angry that her final text was the complete opposite to the awful abusive treatment she had put me through for years! I want to text her back that she never respected me (which she admitted) and her actions consistently were ones of hurt and harm to me. I never told her how much she had hurt me. I am sure sending a reply may make me feel better in the short term but what about the long term? I am angry she gets away with it and have been NC for a week, just so angry......

I hear you im in same boat my EX took full advantage of me and didnt respect me either. Except on my birthday last weekend she sent me text telling me to **** off forever. She keeps sending me text messeges like that and im about to explode myself.

That sounds a terrible thing to text and on your birthday, ignore the texts, keep strong and know you are worth more !

Just crazy nice guys and girls always get rip on. I just dont get how a girl you were with and treated great would have that much disrespect toward me.

You need to keep it moving, that was a good move on sending all those gifts back she doesnt deserve your friendship or being nice to her!
