gypsi Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Well 5 months later and it still feels like last week that we broke up i have been much better but im sad again today still comes in waves. I broke her heart and she said love is not enough?? What does that mean? I know she's not coming back to me but yet i cant shake this feeling at the back of my head that one day she will return, but why would she come back to me? it doesent make any sense to go back to someone who hurt you so much.
sedgwick Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Wait...you broke her heart but you're sad? I'm confused. Why would you leave her if you loved her?
playlislay Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I know how you feel sweet. It truly does suck. The only thing you can do is distract yourself as much as possible. I know its easier said than done Its been nearly 7 months for me, I have a new man and I STILL think about my ex at least 20 times a day
Author gypsi Posted July 22, 2009 Author Posted July 22, 2009 i broke her heart because of my selfdestrucitve ways drinking to much pushing people away hurting the ones i love most....didnt know i had a problem until i lost her and i did go for help. She left me she couldnt deal with me anymore and now she's scared to give me another chance coz she believes il go back to my old ways its terrible to lose the one person you cared for most because you are damaged goods.
Author gypsi Posted July 22, 2009 Author Posted July 22, 2009 thanks playlislay, i try to keep busy as much as possible trust me my social life has quadruppled! But when you come back home and lie in bed alone your memories still haunt you...i will have one massive celebration the day i dont frequent this site anymore, for now il just watch the clock ticking.
The Collector Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 How much were you drinking? How hard did she try to get you to reduce your drinking while you were together? My point is, sometimes people cite different reasons for their leaving than the truth (which might be 'I don't fancy you anymore' or 'I've got a better offer.' But they rarely come back, or they wouldn't leave in the first place. Lately I've been noticing how many songs by male artists are basically 'come back, please give me another chance' etc. Women artists just sing about what losers their exes are.
adamt Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Lately I've been noticing how many songs by male artists are basically 'come back, please give me another chance' etc. Women artists just sing about what losers their exes are. I do think women do more of the dumping. Well that seems the case amongst my friends over the years. Men seem more happy if they are gettin gsomething physical out of the relationship. But i think women are more choosey and want things to be more perfect with their social skills and habits. My ex probably wasnt happy with things but unfortunately she bottled it up until it was too late for me to change and save the relationship. she had her things that would annoy me a little but i accepted them no problem
Author gypsi Posted July 25, 2009 Author Posted July 25, 2009 i dont drink alot but when i do drink i always go overboard and i get aggro she hates that, it took her a month after the break up to finally leave me alone she would phone and text me everyday saying how much she misses and loves me....but she doesent see a future with someone like me it hurts coz now i feel like a bad person a psyco or something! She is still single and not seeing someone, and i have no desire to see anyone i just want her.
